I dont normally post here but It seems lately I have had multiple viewers single target me. I have had one viewer call me pregnant and i'm aged 53! I had another say my but is bigger and another call me moo cow! There has been allot of body shaming lately. I have banned a few for 24 hours and others have apologised and left to stay. I am fed up and ready to ban anyone who continues to name call and body shame regardless of the reason and I mean perminantly. It is ruinining how I feel about camming. I dont want my camming experience ruined by these comments because I absalutely enjoyed camming before and camming is the only job I can have that supports my husband and I financially.. I have been purchasing clothes lately to hide my body fat. Now i'm thinking of sitting off to the side and making excuses not to go live.

All you can really do is ban and set up a blocked words list (I think stripchat has this feature), or just decide it dosnt bother you anymore. I am assuming clothes to hide body fat would be oversized clothes? if it is imo that would be a mistake because they dont hide fat but they do make it look like you are insecure about it which then brings more of the trolling because they can see it as an easy button to press to get a reaction, and the audience you'll attract will be those with a fat shaming kink.

You might want to look into something like clip creation where you dont have to deal with a live audience or phone based work if the live environment is getting to you.

Internet is going to internet, expect that. Remember that it takes a certain type of person to spend their free time to say or do these things for fun. Take charge of your room. Don't feed the trolls with reaction and handle them with bans quickly and quietly. Getting to the point of ppl apologizing is allowing way too much. Like for real! Way too much! Those moments are a troll's wet dream. Don't be scared to whittle your audience down to your niche. There is defiantly a niche for you, and people that want to use the platform for what it is meant for won't hang around to see you react and give time to the non-serious users. Use that chat filter. Most of all, be proud of who you are and be welcoming to those that fit your niche, but don't be welcoming to any others. You'll have more fun and make more money that way. Jumping online becomes more like just chillen with your peeps.

@MeAbc — I’m sorry you’re dealing with trolls. It can be really draining, but try not to let them pull your focus.

Trolls usually feed off reactions — that’s what keeps them going. The less engagement they get, the faster they lose interest. So the best approach is simple: don’t engage, just ban and move on.

Over time, that really does make a difference. Your room will naturally start to filter toward people who are actually there for you. There is an audience that will genuinely appreciate, support and adore you — but the key is making space for them instead of spending energy on the noise.

You’ve got this!

Plus, it is true we do have the Blocked Words and Phrases box. Feel free to write any words in there that you find offensive.

I'm no business major but here it goes lol. Your room is like your business. As a streamer, time is your capital as you are only online for so long. If you fill your shelves(your time) with a product the trolls want, that's all your going to get. If you fill your shelves with what the actual fans of yours want, then your going to get more of them instead of trolls. Being limited on capital, it is important to stock your shelves with a product that gives you a return.

It's important not to react no matter what. Reaction to trolls gives you zero return and burns up capital. Don't waste your capital on something that gives zero return, financially or psychologically.

I hope this helps.
