What should a private-show budget calculator explain?

A token rate alone doesn't tell a visitor what they need to spend. Package sizes, minimum session lengths and optional extras can change the calculation.

I run DesireMetric and have built a free calculator that uses dated pricing samples and shows its limitations. It doesn't recommend individual models or promise that an observed rate is available today.

I'd appreciate feedback on whether the calculation is understandable and which conditions visitors commonly overlook.

PSA to ACFers - I approved this post.

I actually think the concept is helpful.

Don't love the affiliate links, but it is what it is.

The best thing anyone wanting to do a private show can do is cough up the model's requested PM price and have a conversation about it before starting the show. Once you have that conversation, it should be easy enough to figure out how many tokens you need.

My private per minute rate is relatively high compared to most models offering privates and I require tips on top of that if they want me to actually do anything in the private show. In my eyes the per minute rate is the price to take the model out of the main pool because going private kills a room like nothing else on earth and takes forever to rebuild a viewership afterwards.

Yeah exactly. I honestly must be missing something for this site because I don't understand how difficult it is to quickly calculate how many tokens you need for a model minimum or how many minutes you will get with her at that rate based on how many tokens you can afford. And like you say, for extras, you talk to the model in advance. To me, this site seems like a whole unnecessary "20 extra steps".

But hey, I guess if others find it useful then so be it, but it's definitely not something I am in need of.

It's a cool idea, but I would never suggest that my viewers use it. It adds logic into the mix, which is likely to reduce a model's overall earnings.
Like vixxen suggested, I let the boner lead the charge. Boners shouldn't fuss about token budgets. 😅

This tool is surely clever, at least technically.

Where I think it falls over is the assumption that users approach masturbation in terms of "I have $50 and just need someone, anyone to have a wank to". Porn fills that gap and it is widely available for free.

I'm pretty certain that most users make decisions based on the model they are viewing at the time and what is happening in her show. I can't actually imagine anything more depressing than searching for "$50 worth".

This follows on as part of a recurring theme in here where people arrive out of the blue and say they've built a tool and ask for our opinion on it. Sadly, a lot of the time, the tool doesn't really do what the people here would want it to do or does it very badly. The better plan would be to come here with an idea and a notepad and do some research with users and models to find out whether the thing you want to build is even wanted by the people you hope will use it.

I think the problem with this one is that it's not aimed at the type of cam site user that's here at ACF.

It's clearly made for those who are new to the concept, especially since there are affiliate/referral links which obviously only work for newcomers.

So it's unlikely @DesireMetric will get any useful feedback here.
