    You can duplicate the display on both monitors (and as methined-tv's with HDMI and such are also monitors). You can also get a couple of 6ft usb and put a hub at the 2nd location and connect a 2nd set of mouse and keyboard. In the remote case just duplicating the display seems to be the easiest.

    A 6th gen core should be similar to the i5-4570 and should work pretty good. To know how it compares the cpu type i5-xxxx would be needed. It should also have a newer video card that could be used with something like obs to offload the video encoding.
