Onlyfans warned me Amazon is showing full addresses now instead of just zip code to people who purchase from your wishlist.

You're receiving this notice because you have one or more Amazon Lists that are shared with others and have a delivery address set up. We're writing to inform you about an upcoming change to Amazon Lists. Starting March 25, 2026, we will remove the option to restrict purchases from third-party sellers for list items. When this change takes effect, gift purchasers will be able to purchase items sold by third-party sellers from your lists and your delivery address will be shared with the seller for fulfillment. This change will provide gift purchasers with access to a wider selection of items when shopping from your lists.

Important note: When gifts are purchased from your shared or public lists, Amazon needs to provide your shipping address to sellers and delivery partners to fulfill these orders. During the delivery process, your address may become visible to gift purchasers through delivery updates and tracking information. To help protect your privacy, we recommend using a PO Box or non-residential address for any list you share with public audiences.

What irritates me is that this has ALWAYS been the case:

What irritates me is that this has ALWAYS been the case:
I was always under the theory that it only applied to third party sellers and that you could disable allowing third party items to be added to the cart, but they decided "screw privacy" and now anyone can add anything to the cart that they want and get your information.

there were always ways around it before, is what I mean. I hated that people didn’t realize that (that Amazon allowed it to happen despite their wording.)

I use Throne wishlist and it doesnt show my address. I was scared away from making an Amazon wishlist because of the zip code thing. Ive only ever had one viewer use the wishlist but the item came to me and no privacy was violated.
