Ya moms house
I want to hear from both models AND members...

Soooo... I get ditched a lot for Skype shows. THAT HAVE BEEN PRE PAID && ARRANGED.

WTF. I have had people tell me to stop complaining, cause I got paid, && didn't have to do shit... Which is fine && dandy && all... But the thing is, the freetime I have is very little. When I put something together, && end up waiting AN HOUR FOR SOMEONES BITCH ASS TO SHOW UP... && then they don't, that pisses me off.

Once, yeah. Shit happens. It irks me, but;; SHIT HAPPENS. When it's the second && third time, I think I should get to punch you in the nuts. - shrug. Just my feelings about it.

It's like getting ditched for a date. You get ready for said date, shower, get ready, etc.. THEN WTF. Lol.

Models, has this happened to you?

Members, have you done this before? MORE THAN ONCE I mean, lol.

Yes, there have been times where I have had to reschedule, but it is ALWAYS a few hours in advance notice. Not just never showing up, let alone it happening more than once.

I have finally decided that if you are a no show twice in a row - there is no show for you. Now, if something happened, like a family emergency, etc. That's a bit different. But otherwise, I am so not fucking around with this BS anymore.

Fair? Not fair?

LOLL. Yes && no.

I don't care about that part. I can masterbate just fine by myself. I prefer it that way.

I just don't like having my time wasted, && I don't like people who don't respect my time. I also don't like people who can't keep their word.

Seems reasonable to me.

I know that shit happens (computer issues, etc.), and as long as the guy communicates with me and isn't an inconsiderate ass, I'm sure we'll work it out so that the next time the show does happen.

I only log into Skype when the person has paid for the session and is ready at that moment. The guy has different ways of contacting you: Twitter...MFC Mail...pm...possibly e-mail, so there shouldn't be any "Well I couldn't get a hold of you, bb" excuses.

If it's someone on your friends list who you know isn't the type to BS you, it's likely that they will apologize and show up the next time...unless there really are unforeseen circumstances.

In the modeling/photography world that no-show/no-call crap is called "flaking." And usually, after a model has done it ONCE, that photographer wants nothing to do with her and he adds her to his mental 'shit list'. LOL.

When you do hear back from them, I think it's fair for you to give them a second chance. But after that second chance, it's a wrap...

And I know you wouldn't want some guy contacting you 3 months from now saying "Hey, you still owe me that Skype show, bb." That would just be ridiculous! As my mom used to say "You snooze, you lose, buddy!"

This is why any Skype show I schedule with a model takes place 5 minutes after she logs off MFC.

I have had two models outright never show up for Skype, and one model who was several hours late. The worst thing is that they picked the times and day. Being stood up that way puts me in a very bad mood, especially when they do no think they did anything wrong. I understand things can happen, but making me wait around for hours without even apologizing is totally uncalled for.

I don't like to accept skype shows often because they are generally more trouble than they are worth for me, but I will on occasion offer them as part of a raffle prize. About 75% of the guys who have won them are very reasonable about it and we work out times and the show happens without a problem, with the other 25% it's an absolute nightmare.
The WORST is "Oh I think I'm gonna save it for a rainy day"
Then 3 months later on a night when I'm completely bogged down with insane schoolwork, have a migraine and a million other things on my plate and have completely forgotten about the skype at all I'll get a DM on twitter "hey bb remember our skype? can i get it now?"
ಠ_ಠ
I've considered putting an "expiry" date on them if they don't take them within a month or so, but I'm still not sure if that's just me being unreasonable. If they can't find time within a month, it can't really mean much to them.

That sounds more than reasonable. Just tell them it expires 1 month to the day from when they won it.

I've had so many problems with no-shows... it's unreal. It's like "Dude, quit wasting my time!"

Sometimes I wonder if the guy gets off knowing that I'm waiting for the show, without ever showing up.

I simply don't schedule skype shows. They can buy one if I'm free and then we can sign off and do it then. Otherwise to bad, so sad.

You guys are super awesome. Thank you. :).

I had one person try to rub it in my face like four months later. I told him he can kiss my ass, cause he ditched me four times. Yeah. FOUR. He wrote me back, told me how sorry he was, && how he would do anythinnnnggg to talk to me && be unbanned. I MFC mailed him back, && told him to tip 1000 tokens. Never heard from him again.

I am going to come up with a policy now. :).

A lot of the pre planned Skype shows have been in return for a wishlist item, etc.

I haven't done many, but when I do win or purchase a skype show, I'll simply tell the model that I'm flexible and that I'd like to do it when she isn't busy. I know this isn't the best answer in the world, but I want to avoid making it an "appointment". I don't want the skype show to be a burden for her, or even inconvenience myself. The one time I did schedule one, the shit hit the fan at work and I had to stay late. She didn't offer to reschedule, nor did I ask her to...though it would have been nice.

Never happened to me. But when I first started camming I had a guy want a private early in the morning when I wasn't up. He didn't pay before hand. I woke up and got dolled up, no show. Never did that again!

If he paid, arranged the time, and didn't show up then barring a really fucking good excuse I'd just tell him too bad. Unless you think he's going to be a return customer I guess. Giving him the opportunity to fuck you around twice is pretty lenient though.

I was trying to figure out when mine should expire too, and I think a month is very reasonable. But I would hope that most guys won't even take that long to make themselves available for it.

Yes, I also prefer to not make it an appointment. I'd feel better if we could just tell each other our general availability (maybe decide on a day), and tweet or pm each other about it when we're ready to do it now. For example:

Me: Hey. I'm available to get on Skype now, if you'd like.
Him: Okay, sounds good. See ya in a few!

I'd rather do it that way where we both don't feel pressured to "be prompt or else!" LOL. Plus, if it's a person I see all the time on MFC, it's likely he'll be very easy to reach (I could e-mail/MFC Mail/PM/tweet him) anyway.
