So, my idea was this, I would do what I could to persuade some of my favorite CamModels, to send me something special that they thought was representative of themselves. I knew I wouldn't have money enough to buy most of the unique swag offered by Models, and still have tipping money. I would have to rely on my charm, and help the Models figure out items that would be low cost. I would of course cover that cost and try to add as much as I could above that for their trouble. Off the top of my head some examples of what I am talking about might be one of VeronicaChaos's drawings, or a small stuffed (plush) Sponge Bob, or penguin signed by Aedan, (also I would pay all shipping cost of course) Or from JordanBlack, a signed real JordanBlack herself.

You understand, I wanted to build a collection of these Models who will in 30 years be remembered as Models of the first generation of professional Adult Web Cam Models. For the most part I am not real fond of collections with the exception of those collections that are uniquely representative of individuals tied to a common group, or a defined region/type of work, during a certain era. Like the collection of broken and beat up hockey sticks collected by the gear Mrg. of the Black Hawks in the 50 & 60* Or The guy, Avid Onson, who in the late 30's collected over 500 handwritten notes from near every major Symphony conductor, Classical Composer, Big Band leader, and noted Jazz artist, of the era. Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Louis Armstrong, even those who typically never gave autographs, like, Helen Forrest, Bunny Berigan. Using more than charm, he'd pose as a deaf/mute, knowing these ppl would have great empathy for one who had no sound, and also would believe only a deaf/mute would not know who they were. Most often claiming through pen & a pad of paper, that he was lost, or had been abandon, and asking directions, would start every note, "My name is Avid Onson... .." Almost every returned set of directions would start, "I am (name of famous peps)**

I started this thread so I could show off my most recent one of a kind Model item, and others when I get them. I also thought if anyone else had Model goodies they wanted to show/share that would be cool. I'm thinking one of the more common Model keep-sake of undergarments doesn't make any sense to post until the scratch & sniff monitor becomes a reality. If that is what you collect, and want to post, we definitely don't need individual post, so I guess if you, got your panties all in a bunch, I'm going to say, go ahead post. :clown:

So without further a do, or any further do do, I would like to Thank TashaDutch for creating a one of a kind Cam Madel collectable and piece of art, or actually 8 pieces of art, and not letting me pay her more than the cost of materials, and shipping. (I did manage to send a tiny bit more but just to make sure we had shipping covered, and she insisted no more, but we agreed, I have lunch, and the first round someday.

*Simple fabrication for means of example. **(story of deaf/mute Avid Onson or David Johnson)More complex fabrication with plot and factually correct historic references.

Does collecting fansigns or custom content count?
Digital goods are far easier to conceal from nosy people, and take up far less physical space. ;)
Yes this is true, but this is almost exactly why I do not want any digital goods, - I want items that take up real space in the real world. I want to be able to build a case for it eventually, and hand it down to my grandchildren. I don't have any yet, but having a proper collection to hand down, may be just the incentive I need. I once bought a fine hand tooled saddle, and that didn't do it, so I'm trying this. (ppl tell me I need to talk to my son so he can talk to his wife about this. - why bother him if I can get her done some other way.)

I have one or two souvenirs from one of my fav cammodels (now retired)...
my favourite being a handwrittten erotic card that I won in a game... and to my knowledge, a prize that was only offered one other time.
I worked oh so hard (read strategic token spending) to win this prize because it was unique and a little more personal than a vid or pic set

Exactly Crumb. I have a cork from a bottle of wine Roxie was drinking on cam one afternoon. I won it, and didn't even realize I had until the next time I was in Roxie's room. She asked me if I wanted it, and my first reaction was to think to tell her no worries. (Just a cork, and save her the trouble, also before I thought to collect anything), but I said, Yes, and gave her my address. A few days later she sent me a MFC-mail with a link to four pictures she had shot with the cork, - One with it balanced in her very impressive cleavage, another with her bent forward looking back at the camera in comfortably snug shorts, the cork in the small of her back. All very classy. Then when I got the cork there was a four page letter inside It explained that she was in bed writing it and that her note pad was in the other room and that was why her note was on four small yellow post-its.

Everything from her informing of the win that I missed, to, the pictures she decided to do to make it much more special, to, I'm tired and have a real life to, so post-its will have to do, made the whole thing much more nuanced and personal than anything delivered via electrons could ever be. It was a total Roxie package, with Generosity, Class, and Honesty!

I Was very tired when I wrote this, and had to pause when I came back to it now, WTF, Oh, yea, I was putting together the collection before the heirs, - something like buying the saddle before the horse.

And, since I know that the above pictured art are finger nails, and that Tasha has a passion for nail art, there is no way I would not know that is what is pictured. But if you didn't know any of that, well I should have mentioned that they were
"Tasha's Custom Painted Nails".

Got the best ever peanut butter cookies and a small fan sign in the mail today. Thanks Roxie! Also a cork to replace the one I think got tossed out when someone thought they would do me a favor and clean out my old dresser for me. (This one is going in the locked file cabinet with the other keepsakes.)

Why did I only picture two cookies? Because that's all that were left. :-D
