Hi,

New to the forum; long-time audience from several sites.

I have an idea I would like to probe with real performers to see if there is interest in it and if you think it can be helpful or fun for you.

The app auto-covers private parts on your webcam in real time, with GPU AI detection. Black or custom PNG masks (kawaii packs included) stay glued on you even while you move. Viewers tip to unlock and reveal.
Runs 100% locally, outputs via virtual camera, so your OBS/stream setup stays unchanged. Integrated with Chaturbate tip events (more platforms coming, but CB was the easiest to implement first because their API does not require additional installation beyond the actual app)

First question, of course, is the app's real value: do you, as performers, think it can be a playful way to push viewers to tip, or just a waste of time?
I've focused heavily on anonymisation and privacy during development, so anything it sends over the internet is filtered through Cloudflare to remove IP addresses and other info, making tracing impossible. Still, I'm not sure how to make the app "trustworthy " for models.

Having been on caming site for quite some time, I have a small idea of the amount of weirdness and dangerous things a model is facing and protecting privacy is not a nice-to-have, but a real need... so I try to think about everything in that regard, but how can I gain the minimum of trust required from the community?

Won't post the site or the soft here unless people want it, but I really don't want this post to look like disguised advertising either; genuinely looking for your thoughts on the idea before anything
K.

Honestly, it sounds interesting--I think it could be fun. I don't know, though, how safe it'd be to use on CB because of the AI thing. It'd be great if you got Chaturbate's approval before asking any model to use it.

If you're not looking for money, then I think the easiest way to make it "trustworthy" is to make it open source.

You know what would be hilarious? an auto emoji mode that detects smiles, frowns, straight face, smile with teeth, etc etc and replaces the emojis covering the private parts automatically based on the face the model is making.

I'm a viewer, not a model, but have so many questions about how this would/could work, such as:
  • can the model choose which parts of their body are covered, and which parts are revealed?
  • can the model decide how long the duration of the 'uncover' is?
  • (above may be related to tip size)
  • can the model set options for the 'uncover' - example, for only the user that sends the tip, or for every user in the room who has tipped (a minimum amount) during that session, or for everyone?

I've checked the CB clauses. Since the stream never leaves the broadcaster machine before being cast to CB, and all detection is local, it is okay. Also, AI is often used as a marketing term for simple image analysis using machine learning.

Not really looking for money, but I spent a couple of months on it, so I thought a way to have a fair share would be to have a free 30m demo that resets each day and a full version linked to membership to my profile's Fan Club, from like 50tks a month, that would allow me not to have to deal with credit cards or personal info; everything stays with the CB ecosystem, and would allow models to "pay" the license with tokens, so before the CB Commission on the change token to dollar...

The way to do it is that the app goes thru CloudFlare to get rid of the model actual IP and anonymize it, then from Cloudflare pings a license server with just the model's room name it got from the CB API you setup to be able to detect the tips (which is a public info, no name, real name or anything that is not publicly disclosed by CB) and just see if this room name is fan of my profile, then just resent via Cloudflare and OK. using Cloudflare does warranty anonymity and private life protection for the model and let's be honest for the real myself :) We booth have interest in staying hidden behind our nicknames.

And honestly, most of the token I get would probably be resent to some models hahaha

Noted for a future version; nice idea, but I have to keep in mind this runs locally, and the model's laptop usually does not have a 5090 GPU, so I need to be careful with local detections to be able to keep at least 30fps, and I target 60fps if possible

Model can choose: Vulva, Anus, Breasts or Penis. Or a mix of those, with each its own goal. I didn't allow Face, as it could be interpreted as a promise to mask the face, and since detection sometimes jumps or is lost, it isn't a reliable way to ensure that. Don't want to make false promises.

Uncover duration can be permanent or a timer before the mask comes back. Each new session can be with an added tip (EG +10 TK; each new reveal adds to the primary amount) or a multiplier (be careful of exponential growth using this)

Alas, I can't differentiate users in chat using the CB API; more importantly, I cannot interfere with what CB is actually streaming. That would be an infringement.
That would require client-side installation, and let's be honest, while not technically impossible, it is practically undoable.

I've done this on my own with images. The novelty wears off fast, and guys don't have much interest in the peep-show aspect.

That is what I was affraid of, but it can be a warm-up or if the model really knows how to play it. It is not the performance itself; it's a clutch the model can use, and if used well, it can be a real revenue stream for them.

I have tried a bunch of stuff like this, and pretty much had this exact idea but couldn't work out how to actually implement it (kudos to op for working that out). But I found the same, novelty of things like this wares off pretty quick, for me at least, one of the main reasons why I stopped coding interactive stuff for cam, a week of work for 2 days of novelty as just a bad trade off for me. I can see it lasting a bit longer in rooms that have a high flow of new traffic, but when a room is built mainly of regulars the "this is cool" to "this is boring" is a pretty short time frame.

OP could expand it with other games that use the same principle, like a match 2 cards where instead of bluring and undoing some of the blur the user would tip a number associated with a card, then tip for a second card and if they match remove the cards. Plenty of alterations you can do with it to add in more variety but again for me they are too short lived to be worth making, but I do think there are rooms where something like that would be better suited.

omg the memory-like idea is appealing indeed....

or a bongo also... guess the gobelet where the card is... this is only a veriation of 'lucky number' but visual...
