I want to collect data on how many camgirls of which camscores are on at certain times, but I talked to a progger and he couldn't figure out how to write a script, so I'm just doing it the hard way for now until I learn more programming. It's not that bad, really.

Anyway, I was doing this on my own, but if I had help from a few other people, that would be fucking amazing.

THE GOAL: Gather enough data to tell girls with camscores 3k+ what their estimated competition will be.

If you would like to contribute (it would help me immensely), just go to the front page whenever, record the data listed below, come here and post it down, and I'll put it into a spreadsheet.

A) I need to know the TIME you recorded it (and your timezone please, this is important - please be very precise about your timezone, so I can figure it out to convert it), and day of the week.

B) I need to know how many girls are online with each thousand interval of camscore.

For example:

2:00pm Monday (pacific time, USA)
13k camscore: 3 girls
12k camscore: 4 girls
11k camscore: 7 girls
10k camscore: 5 girls
...
3k camscore: 27 girls

etc., all the way down to 3k camgirls. I'm ending it at 3k because the camscores above it encompass the majority of the front page, and measuring ones lower than 3k would probably be a separate study, as the scale is different.

A camscore counts as 13k if the score is anywhere between 13,000-13,999. Same for all other numbers, durh.

Any information helps - if you just feel like doing this once, thank you! If you want to do it once a week, thank you even more! I'm doing it regularly myself, but the more samples I have, the better the data will be.

And if you can, if it's not too much trouble, try to measure the scores at times that have not been measured before.

Just an anecdotal observation. The later in the day PDT the higher your camscore will need to be to be on the first page if set to 50 models. I have no idea what the top camscores are during that time but noticed your need around a 4k camscore to be in the first 50 models. Earlier in the day it appears to drop closer to 3k camscore to stay on the front page.

I would guess mycamgirl.net would probably be able to pull this information from his database(s)?

Dunno what a progger is, but here.

Just Me is correct though, MyCamGirl could probably run a query for you.

How in the name of zeus did you get that?
Whenever you log in to MFC, MFC creates a data file that has a list of all the models that are currently logged in. The web page I threw together logs into MFC as a guest, retrieves that data file and then dumps out a filtered summary. Essentially, it's just a snapshot of the currently logged in models. You can see this process happening when you load the site in that you get the logged in message, then it takes a few seconds to show all the models. That's MFC getting that initial status and displaying it.

In a normal session, MFC also sends status updates whenever a model logs in or out, or changes state (goes private, group, away, etc). That's how you get notifications about models.

I have boning urges in your general direction right now.
