There are few talismanic words used by both politicians and the American media alike that make me want to vomit more than "bipartisanship"

That said, could this proposed legislation -if passed- threaten the existence of myfreecams.com? Seems far-fetched, I agree- but it's not impossible. Of course, just because the Senate passes something doesn't mean it will be instituted as law of the land -as we all know. Nevertheless, while I understand the need for an "Anti-human traffciking" law on the books, I don't like this bill. Hopefully it gets struck down and it is re-worked so its wording is not so intentionally ambiguous and broad in scope.

Re: Is MFC at risk from legislation being passed by the Sena

I heard something like this the other day, when someone mentioned camsites could be next. I thought the video was great.

I guess it wouldn't sadly surprise me if they tried something like that, but the fact that so much personal info goes into making a cam model...seems like human traffickers would more likely not want to leave a paper trail. I could understand it if it were like through twitter or even models who offer only skype and such, but with how many chat archives MFC has on file I think it'd be a bit too risky to try. :?

I'm not saying there aren't terrible camming situations...just that if/when they get found out, they tend to get shut down.

I would not vouch for all the models in, and from Eastern Europe and Latin America. Some weird things going on in some of the studios there. The models themselves can not say too much about it because all their chat and pm's and mail are being monitored by studio owners.

Legislation in general is ambiguous because it's the administrative agencies in charge of implementing and enforcing said legislation who then writes the various rules and procedures in the Code of Federal Regulations.

I don't see this as a game changer for the online adult industry, but it will probably complicate 2257 record keeping.
