Just a few question ... help a newbie out

Ok, so I've read a number of the forum topics because I know people dislike questions being repeated but I am SO NEW at this web cam / soft porn thing I could really use advice. I am truly doing this to earn money and for no other reason. I'm by no means a person who likes to take their clothes off in front of strangers and truly only want the guy I'm dating to see me that way but financially I need the help.

In saying that, would any of you enlighten me as to the best sites to make money? I have signed up on MyFreeCams and Xpeeps so far. Any other worthwhile ones?

I will say that I greatly disliked the process of registering and it took me quite awhile to send a photo of my ID. I just didn't want so much USABLE information (SS#, DL#, ADDRESS, etc.) in the hands of a bunch of strangers who could use it a potentially illegal way or if their site gets hacked then someone has all this information. I just had to send ANOTHER form of ID to MyFreeCams (me holding up my passport next to my face). Yes, I understand they can't have girls who are illegal or under age but it just made me nervous.

I looked at a few people's pages and it seems that everyone is (mostly) wearing clothes. Can you really get any tokens and/or tips with your clothes on?

Are there things that these guys really like, that will get them motivated to tip?

Are the evenings better than other times in the days? Or is pretty much any time good? I obviously want to work when there is the chance for the most income potential.

And before I wear out my welcome, while I do know some HTML, for the life of me I can't figure out how some of you gals get the nice graphics and the boxes that show your best tippers (and the Amazon Wish List). A number of HTML code I've used has just gotten me error messages. The best I've been able to do is bold and italicize a few things.

I'm not sure it's necessary to preface your message by pointing out you're only doing this for money. I believe that most women primarily prefer to get paid for working.

However, if you are extremely uncomfortable with being a sex worker, then you probably will not be happy in this line of work. It seems like you want to distance yourself from women who are more comfortable with public nudity.

The best sites to make money depend on your style of camming and what you're comfortable with.

If you sign up with a legitimate site, they are going to need identification. I would be far more worried about a site that didn't require extensive ID.

Most women post clothed pictures on their profiles, but on camera most women generally get naked. It is possible to be a non-nude model but I believe the general consensus is that you will struggle quite a bit more if you're a new model.

Guys love everything. In general they will prefer to see you naked, having sex with yourself and performing fetish acts.

About once a week we get a post asking what the best time of day is to log on. As far as I know, we've reached no consensus on the best time of day, best day of the week, or best time of month.

Many models pay someone to create a profile for them.
