Moon nazis! (Iron Sky)

So, anyone here familiar with this much anticipated upcoming production?

It's a, well, a sci-fi comedy would be the most accurate genre placement I guess. The premise is quite simple:
In 1945 the nazis went to the moon. In 2018, they're coming back.

And it's going to be fucking epic, I can just tell. Not a Hollywood production, so no pandering to the lowest common denominator. ;)





Seriously, moon nazis. How hilarious can an idea be, anyway?

Holy crap, that actually sounds cool. I'm expecting it to be very low budget though.

Well, I wouldn't say VERY low budget, sure it's an indie film but it does have a couple production companies behind it. And just look at the scene in that teaser 3 where the nazi space zeppelins are unloading the nazi flying saucers (just let those concepts sink in for a while) onto earth, IMO it could be straight from a high profile Hollywood flick as far as effects quality goes. And the filmmakers are truly motivated, I've been following the project for quite a while now and they're obviously making the film for the joy of filmmaking and not just out to make loads of money.

Furthermore, the way they're making the film is really innovative. They collaborate with the audience to a large extent, even partly getting funded by people willing to donate funds. Check out this presentation:
 
oh my god this had to come out yesterday. I can't wait to see this movie, and the soundtrack by god sounds amazing. It looks bad ass but yet I can't stop laughing.

I think that's the most ridiculously badass-sounding trailer narrator I've ever heard.

Seriously, I haven't anticipated a movie this eagerly since the LotR trilogy. Already ordered myself a ticket for a previewing in my home city in late March and can't fucking wait to get there.
 
There are literally no words in any of the three languages I speak to describe how FUCKING STOKED I am for this movie.

It is nice to see a movie where it is the white guy who dies first. The stupid trend of killing the black guy as soon as humanly possible is so stupid and predictable.
