My cam score just DOUBLED!

So, last night I had a pretty good night to be me - I made about 1600 tokens. I knew that would make some change to my cam score.

Having been offline for a long time, my cam score was only at 528, and besides my very first couple of days on MFC it has never been higher than about 800...

Imagine my surprise when I checked my profile today and noticed that my score suddenly is 1008,6! I've never, ever been higher than the starting 1000 you get as a new model. I have had nights better than last night without this kind of effect... What's going on?? xD

Has anyone else noticed a big change in their cam score today? Maybe it's some kind of Easter present from MFC? (I would love to say I earned this, but the math just isn't balanced.. I don't get it!)

You may have had a bad day drop off, because of the rolling sixty day system they seem to use.

Theres a huge thread here on camscore and the 'theory' behind it all.... no one really knows exactly 'how' it works. basically tho, its an average of the last 60 days. bad days drop off the end and usually cs goes up, same as if a particularly great day drops off, cs goes down.

I do think that talking about my nerdiness and explaining I'm trying to collect the money to build a computer (parts will cost over $2.000) helped a lot with making tokens last night - guys love nerdy girls Anyhow, I love to be back at 1000:s, feel like I've been given a second chance to make it work

If you have time one night i suggest reading the very long camscore thread! It very very informative.

The most simple way to look at is make more tokens then the day before in the same amount of time online or less for your score to rise.

I have kind of decided to see it ass More tokens= Higher score with a notice of time.. Can't bother with more variables, so when things like this happen, I'll just be very happy

If you're online at midnight on Easter (according to MFC, midnight easter will be this Sunday morning, you want US Pacific time zone), you'll get a present

I noticed that if you're on at midnight during the holidays you'll get a little tip from the site. Nothing much, I think I got 40 tokens each time or something like that, but every bit counts.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure they do that anymore... but it's worth a shot, no?

It's 9 a.m. here, too. :mrgreen: I don't mind though, I get up for MFC at 8 or 9 a.m. all the time. It's a job, after all.
And I'd like to see if I really do get a present from the site

I was even able to rise it a bit more last night, it's close to 1100 now!

When I started out I was so new to this that I had no idea how to get tokens, then a few days later my cam score was so low barely anyone came in my room. But last night I broke a new record of viewers, don't know the exact number as I was slightly busy at the time, but it was in 3 digits and I've never seen it go past 50 before! Got to tell you, my confidence is raging, I feel awesome

Camming can often make you feel really good at times when you feel blah/not-all-that-pretty. That's how I started to feel tonight at first. For some reason I thought that wearing a pink bra and white thong would be boring...lol. I have no idea why I felt this way. Probably just me being a worrywart about how I look on cam...worrying that my look would just be boring.

I ended up having a very good night, my Easter egg activity went well, and for a good amount of time I had over 100 people in the room. People were actually TALKING to me, and most of them were pretty cool. I wish every night on cam would be like that. I think I may have gained a few new regulars tonight.

yeah, sometimes people just surprise you! This one guy last night started chatting because he recognised where the poster on my wall is from, then he said he had to go but would visit me again - then after he had left my room I got a 1875 token tip from him! That's my all time biggest tip! And he wasn't even in my room anymore! I was so happy, couldn't believe it

YAY U ! ....yeah I have been on month and week and the score is the most annoying ridiculous joke ever LOL...HATE IT .....BUT!! Thank you! That last bump is thanks to the awesome guy that just threw me a 1875 token tip for absolutely nothing (other than being a beautiful nerd, I guess)! Blew my mind xD

That's a great site you've got there, btw! I've tried camscorestats but they don't keep up with their updating.. I can see I am also in the top 12-13% of MFC girls - SUCH an awesome function!! All in all - salutes to you for making a great site, my friend! :handgestures-salute:

This function was always there. But the way it is displayed depends on your camscore rank.

If your rank is below 2500, it shows the % of the girls with better camscores. Something like: "This camscore is lower than 12% of the girls", which is what it says on AliceDoe's stats.
If your rank is above 2500, it shows how big it is compared to the average. "This camscore is 3 times bigger than the average", is what appears on LilyMarie's stats.

This is why LilyMarie (ranked #1264) doesn't see the same thing AliceDoe (ranked #4445) sees on her page.

The rank is calculated every hour, comparing it to all models that have been online in the past 60 days and that still have an active account. Your current rank can be found below the camscore progress bar.
