My purchase limits just dropped from 5-6 purchases a day with a maximum of 900 tokens, to 2 purchases a day with a maximum of 200 tokens. How did that happen? I thought the point of the purchase limit was to weed out credit card scammers among new users. I have never scammed anyone. I am very upset about this. :angry4:

:) Of course I wasn't actually making those purchases, I mainly like the larger packages because you get more tokens for your money. When I buy the super low token packages I feel like I'm wasting money. I do admit though, with the low limit I felt like a cripple. In any case, after an email to MFC support, it looks like they have raised it again, so I am happy... it's just strange.

When did you email them, what email did you use, and how long did it take you to hear back?

I've done everything according to the wiki, uploaded a release form and my photo ID, have emailed them multiple times, and also used the "contact us" form on the web page.

Have heard absolutely nothing back, still have limits and they won't unlock the higher token packages.

All this does is keep tokens out of the pockets of the girls I want to tip - their loss, I guess :dontknow:

I've found if I email both support@myfreecams.com and members@myfreecams.com, usually at least one of them will get back within 24 hours. But yea, when I tried to get them to raise my limits when I first joined, they refused to do it (I didn't try to upload a release form though). I just had to wait.

my highest token package is 1850 i think this is based on a few things

1)membership time (after a month you won't be able to buy 1000 tokens lol unless you succeed in lifting your limits)
2)purchase history
3)membership status(blue newbie or not...)

I have over 5k reward points, have been a premium since July of 2010 AND am a model. My highest token package is 900 and I have emailed them several times over the last 6 months to release the higher packages. All they do is respond with "check now".

Well at least they respond - I can't even get that.

Leo must have a fantastic tan.

Yep, we can check all of those things off my list - yet I still only have the 900 package as my highest.

I've got about 5500pts, have been a member since Sept '10, top package I can get is 3775, 9 times a day and store up to 100k
I always just buy the 900, the savings between that and the higher packages are outweighed by the temptation to spend more carelessly imo. Plus it's like 0.2c per token cheaper or something.

I had no problem with the limit being raised when I requested it. I also heard back from them within 24 hours when they acknowledged my request and said they were checking on it. About a week later, the first tier upgrade came with no fanfare or bonus point increase on my acct. which is usually what it takes. It was just there when I bought the next time. I have to say tho... they seem to realize the ease of overspending, hence the graduated limits over time. That way you can buy what you feel like and also, they get to see that your card still accepts the charges, denoting the ability to pay for fun without losing the house. The first time you buy say, the $600 package a few times during a week or a month, you will than ask yourself how your CC bill got so big so fast...LOL. The other side to this 'coin' is that if you really want to be a baller or some lucky girls 'whale', all you have to do is send MFC a bank wire transfer. Spend as much as you like. They will credit your acct @ 8 cents per token cost as well as raise your purchase status. I can also understand with the world economy being so unsteady, they might be weighing other concerns as well.

My limit is 10 purchases of 7575 tokens a day and up 200000 in my account at one time. It has stayed there for a long time now and I doubt it is going to go any higher. I have never bought anywhere close to that, so I think it is just time that makes it go up.

It seemed like my first couple months I kept hitting the purchase limit, but that just was a sign I was all tipped out for the day. I am still waiting to hear back from support about any of my emails. I am sure they will respond any month now.

I think there has to be several (at least 5 or more I think) purchases made at one level before the next tier becomes available. Also, I think they like to see that you are consistent in your purchases before that happens. So if a new level opens and you don't go up after a couple months to purchase more, then you may get stalled there... from one viewpoint you may not be willing to spend any more (or can't), so it doesn't go up.

I think the type of credit card you use has a bearing too. With Visa I have had no problems at all and I am buying from the UK. I have heard of other users buying the same amounts of tokens as myself whom MFC have made jump through hoops with ID requests etc before allowing purchases to be made for as little as 900 tokens. Seems to vary from member to member.

Perhaps also staying a basic member for certain time produces restrictions as well. I made premium same day as I signed up. 21 months on... no problems to report. I regularly purchase the 1875 package (with the next tier up available to me) and can store 100000 a day... up to 9 purchases being set as the limit. It has steadily increased as I bought more tokens.. but never went down.

Seems I had been using some bad emails. support@MyFreeCamsMail.com did actually get me a response. Everything I sent to support@myfreecams.com or sent through the "contact us" link on the wiki seemed to get blackholed.

Anyway, using the myfreecamsmail.com address they got back to me right quick, and did increase my purchase limit as requested. They also said that higher token packages were made available based on time spent on the site.

That's exactly my purchase limit right now too. I was a little surprised when they increased it. I took about a month and a half off and the day I came back I purchased a 900 token package.... the next time i logged on my limit was increased. I have taken advantage of the 7,575 token package on a couple occasions now but don't see myself using it often again. I don't like buying that package because I end up spending all my tokens the night I buy them 95% of the time

I finally received the 7575 option with 10 purchases per day after coming back from a month off as well. But after 3 purchases (of the 7575 package) all of the less than .08 per token options start to disappear. Before I get anywhere close to my 10 daily purchases I'm only able to buy the 900 token package...

I think if you get in contact with them they can raise it manually, they might need some ID sent or something, I dunno - I heard it a while ago
