This game is like crack, yo. Addictive as fuck. I'm led to believe it's a bit like Farmville, but having never played Farmville I couldn't say for sure. Basically, Homer causes an explosion at the nuclear plant and Springfield gets blown up and all the residents (save for Homer and Lisa) get blown away (but somehow escape injury). You then have to rebuild Springfield Sim City style and as you do, the residents start to come back. You can set the residents to do jobs which earn money which can then be used to buy more buildings for your Springfield 2.0.

It's awesome. Best of all it's free on iOS/Android (with the option to buy things in-game with real money).

You can also go snooping around other people's Springfields and see how their's looks and sabotage it if you so choose. You also get bonuses and (in-game) money for visiting other folks' Springfields. If anyone is playing it already, my username is greatwhitebob. Hit me up, yeah?
 
I tried it, but I ran out of stuff to do after a few minutes unless I was willing to spend my money on in game purchases. I would rather buy a game and have lots of fun than get a game for free and just be able to play less than thirty minutes a day.

It did remind me of the Facebook style game, so if someone likes those they should try it out like you said Bob.
 
I play Tapped Out, though I haven't played it as much recently. It is fun building your town, and I really like the seasonal events they have where you can TP friend's towns or collect Santa coins from their town at Christmastime. I love the Simpsons too, so I really enjoy it. If any of you play and want more neighbors, feel free to add me: tarynash36
