I’m a new cam model. I cammed very briefly in 2020. I didn’t make a ton of money and I spent a lot on equipment so I didn’t owe much. I had no knowledge of how taxes worked for independent contractors at that time so it was a bit of a shock.
I understand that it is important to prepare for tax season but I don’t know exactly where to start.
I’ve heard you should save 30% of what you make per/month. I’ve also considered hiring a financial advisor or having someone else do my taxes for me. Any advice is much appreciated
