There's an App for that...

I need some good ideas of some apps to look at for the I-Pad. I signed up at one of the booths at the local county fair and guess who won....THIS GUY!!!!!

Anyway, I am not very educated on any of the Apple products and what all is available for said item so I would like some ideas what everyone else is using on theirs.
The I-Pad is the 16 GB with Wi-Fi and very little added to it so far. What apps are all the cool kids using now?
