Want To Tell Your Story In A Unique Documentary Series?

Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you all well.

I work for a TV production company called NERD (http://www.nerdtv.co.uk). We make documentaries and factual series for networks around the world. You'll see from the above URL that NERD is a UK company, but I'm a NYC-based producer and the series I am posting about here is for a US cable network.

Each episode of this documentary series focusses on a different young person who is either living an unusual life, or facing a big decision. The unique thing about the series is that all stories are self-shot by the subjects (using cameras and training provided by us), so we're hoping that the finished films will be more revealing and honest than anything else on TV. So far we have stories about disability, gender-identity, religion and family dynamics.

I'm posting here today because we believe a cam girl story would fit extremely well into the series.

I'm interested in people who are thinking of starting camming. People thinking of quitting. Even people who can't imagine doing anything else.

I understand that anonymity is important to members of the camming community, so we can absolutely have a conversation about how much personal information would be divulged in the film.

While cam models have good reasons to want to keep their personal info private, a TV producer would come off as a lot more legit if they revealed theirs, so that models would be able to google them before taking further steps.

There's nothing about a series like this being in development on the NerdTV site or tweeted about by @nerdtvcasting. #justsaying

Hi Sevrin, thanks so much for your interest.

Your suspicion is understandable, but if my post seemed vague it's because there are contractual limits to the amount of information we are allowed to publicly disclose while a project is in production. Usually, it's not until a series is wrapped and edited that you would see publicity for it on a production company's website, or elsewhere.

However, in a private forum, I will be able to disclose much much more information directly to anyone interested (which is why I have asked to be DMed).

This really is a great opportunity and I look forward to hearing from more members of this community about it.
