I was wondering if anyone has ever tried Wurm Online.
PVE
I absolutely love playing this game. It can be time consuming, but it's very peaceful to play if you join the PVE servers.
PVE servers are money making ones, you can sell live stock such as horses, chickens, cows etc. There's a lot of skills that go into the game too, such as weapon smithing, breeding, farming, mining, fishing, fighting, pottery..that's to name a few. Again you can sell pretty much anything, there's always a buyer on Freedom servers. The higher your skill you can craft in, the more value the item is worth.
There's also events called "Rifts". You can receive special loot from these depending on how much you participate in them. To do Rifts, you must have a group with you to kill the mobs as you'll just be insta killed otherwise.

PVP
Joining in on PVP can be very political, which is another reason why I love it. You'd have to have a strong back bone if you did consider joining PVP. It's very tactful and requires a lot of patience.
You are against other kingdoms, these can be the three base kingdoms, Mol Rehan, Jen Kellon, Horde of the Summoned. There are also Player made kingdoms rather than just the 3 kingdoms.
You fight for land, doing this you must take guard towers and raid enemy deeds.
You can also receive loot from a player, which can be far more better than yours and worth some coin.

You can also make real life money out of selling items in this game or coin even. All is done by Paypal and is allowed through the forums.
There is so much in this game, I think I'd be here explaining it forever. So feel free to check the forums out and tell me what you think! It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I just thought I'd share this for those who may be interested
