Is it not and always been a nickle per token? Yes, the diff between an indy and a studio girl take home is different, but its STILL the nickle that's given by mfc per token. When I pay less than 8 cents per and someone else pays more, any percentage discussion would become moot when trying to make a comparison when the nickle payout remains the same.

I agree maybe some of those no tippers will at least drop one token on a model instead of giving you a sob story about how they can not afford to tip you anything at all. One token is only five cents, but it is still five more than you would have gotten from them any other way. Assuming you do not have a minimum tip set.

OK, there are your two dynamics right there. Yes, Miss Lollipop, it's true you would make a touch more if someone saved up to buy a bigger package. But........you are also likely to make more because the same guy buying the smaller packages would NOT save up to buy the bigger package and end up not spending anything at all.

I don't understand...the bigger the token package the lower the cost to the member per token right? 8c per vs 10c per etc.

It's my understanding though that a model (or her studio) gets a flat 5c per token, whether the token cost 8c or 10 or anywhere in between, it's MFC that gets a varying amount depending what price the member bought the tokens for. At 8c MFC makes 3c per token (but obviously sells a lot more), at 10c they make 5c per. Either way, the model makes 5c per regardless of what package the member bought.

The reason MFC charges more per token at lower package amounts is because as we all know, the more you buy the more you spend. For many people 1000 tokens won't last them much longer than 200 - they spend more freely - and either way models and MFC win big when people buy tokens in bulk so in once sense it's to discourage that. If anyone was going to buy thousands of tokens in small packages for 15c per well...they're a complete and utter idiot.

If I spend the $$ all at once, or over a month period.. thats still all I'm allowed to spend.

So if I were to make impulse buys of small token packages, the models I tip would ultimately get LESS of that total $$ buget than they would if I go buy the largest package my budget can stretch to.

I do realize that most of mfc works on impulse purchases however.

TO be clear: I wasn't saying it sucks so bad they should take the feature out. if it gets me or anyone else tokens I might not have got otherwise, I'm a happy girl! I was simply saying to remember that if you save up and buy a bigger package, the model gets a higher % of what you spend.

Yeah, I know that you can now. But I'm saying that recently, the smallest package was $2.99 for 25 tokens. In fact, I made a point of reminding people that they CAN buy tokens as cheap as $2.99.

But the last time I used my premium account to tip was back in December or November. Not sure exactly when they added on the 10/15/20 token option, but cool. :thumbleft:
