Can I just say something about my experience on CB

Just a thread to tell my experience on CB. In hopes other models (on CB) won’t experience the same thing.

1. I was randomly banned while in a private show—no warning given. I was not breaking T.O.S. when it happened ( just naked and in the middle of cumming)

2. I wrote into support to inquire about the reason. Was informed it was a suspension and came from user abuse reports who reported me for being at risk of self-harm. I have NEVER simulated or done anything even close to self harm on cam. Support asked I seek help.

3. Even though I NEVER had these thoughts, I did as they asked and spoke to a therapist to discuss other stresses in my life. I let them know I did that.

4. Support said my suspension would be lifted after doing that, and it was not. To the contrary they have completely ignored all emails since!

THIS IS WHAT DISTURBS ME THE MOST:

I have had an issue with trolls for over a year on CB, who would like nothing better than to report me and get me banned (CB was well aware of the issue, as I reported it multiple times)

How are members of a porn site “qualified” to determine a models state of mind?

How is not allowing a model to cash out the tokens in her account and cutting off their only income source “helping”?

How about asking the model themselves thru a site warning if they are ok? Rather than relying on user reports?

And when the model emails support and assures you they are fine, open up their account, or at least respond to one email?

At this point, I just want my remaining tokens in my account (almost $275).

I would not EVER trust that something like this would not happen again.


The way support has handled this ”grey” and “sensitive” issue is very unprofessional.


I know I have to move on at this point, and find another income source. Because I have given it way too much time/energy now.

I just wanted to share my experience!

luckily there are other sites out there to make money on. there are other sites that dont suspend your pay if a user falsely accuses you of whatever. they investigate the claims first, then act if they need to. i know its a grind to start on a new site, but it's totally doable. best of luck to you OP.

i totally agree, suspending the ability to cash out when a model is allegedly going through mental health crisis is problematic. that is not a viable solution and could lead to more harm.

Yes, change is hard but necessary sometimes. And if support really was concerned with my mental well-being they would not add to the stress by keeping your money and ignoring all emails—just totally counter-productive. I did not think this would ever happen to me. I knew I had several haters/trolls but honestly thought support would “have your back”. Even if the account ever gets restored or I get a response from support I would always be fearful of it happening again.
User gets mad, doesn’t like you for whatever reason....reports you under different account names, or gets others to report you....and bam....auto banned....and the nightmare trying to defend yourself to support starts all over again!

Wow! Chaturbate is still doing this bullshit to models?! I remember when they were banning models for "looking young" (which is stupid if they have valid photo ID for her on file...I'm 38 and still get my ID checked when I'm out). Not a big fan of CB, even though I still have a model account on there that I never use anymore. The 1-token tips and guys bugging me with "PM bb" drove me bonkers. And the model profile section was so pitiful-looking. And I still think it's silly that wearing a sexy nun Halloween costume on CB is against the rules.....

If you're looking to try a different site, maybe consider MyFreeCams (another token site) if you can keep a consistent schedule on there? This one is my favorite. Definitely read the threads here about it though.

A lot of camgirls love Streamate, which is more of a private-based site (Private shows). You can't advertise your Twitter/OnlyFans info on there at all, though, and below-the-waist nudity in public chat is forbidden. So you'd wanna make sure to abide by those rules so you don't get suspended or banned.

I have expressed frustration before on cam...said such things as “ugg, put me out of my misery”... and I spoke about “not caring about myself”...but said that was in terms of treating myself to nice things, and spending $ on me(in no way referring to not caring about my life/living).

And I truly believe that if a user/users “misinterpreted“ what I said and was concerned —they had to know filing an abuse report to CB —-would lead to a suspension/ban, loss of income earned/ and no chance to earn anymore—and just make it 1000x worse for me.

And so I conclude....the abuse reports were done intentionally by haters who had no ”good” intentions behind the report. The only motive they had was getting me banned. And I believe they knew exactly what they were doing. And it likely resulted from anonymous users in my room at the time, who were likely previously banned and wanted revenge.

If CB sent a site warning and asked me to PERSONALLY respond to it, then this could have been avoided.

ironic thing is....I was already going to be taking a break from the site. I knew I needed one. But by being suddenly banned I didn’t even get a chance to cash out my tokens.

Do they ever suspend/ ban models like cb did? CB told me to call 211, and also sent me a link to the suicide prevention lifeline chat, along with their phone number. I know about pineapple support, and was surprised CB did not advise to contact them. And yes —-it was a TOTAL OVER-REACTION! I mean I was in a private show, cumming for at least 20 minutes when my private SUDDENLY ended! Could they NOT pop in my private and see I was FAR from being in distress! Or see the tape? Or just read 1 of the 20 emails I sent assuring them I’m OK.

But no....ummm...model may be in distress....ban them, not pay them, not answer emails......yep thats the answer!


And NEVER in a million years would I ever attempt self harm on cam or even simulate it as a joke!

Well I have now given up trying to get my money or account back. It’s clear now that after a week of emails and flagging here it’s not gonna be resolved. Sad—yes. Eye-opening—-yes. A level of stress and aggravation that I have not experienced before—yes.

I pray no other model goes thru a similar situation ever.

Never rely on CB as your only income source as I did. And know you can be randomly banned at anytime and loose everything!

I do not believe that anymore. Today was the final day I held out hope. And now it’s gone. It’s a very cruel thing to do to a person. I had a very ill cat I was trying to get medical for as well, that I needed those tokens for, and explained that to CB and they still could not respond. No compassion at all.

Just don't do anything else and see what happens. I fully believe since you've sent like 6 different tickets in for the same issue it is slowing down your results. You've made like 3 or 4 threads/posts about it here, so I can only imagine how much stuff CB has to wade through to resolve your tickets. Sometimes less is more, friend.

You need to pretend it doesn't exist for now, move on to other things, and see what happens.

I will try that. Each ticket I created more or less said the same thing. Asking the length of the suspension, or requesting a final payout if my account will remained locked, and reminding them I did what was asked in the original ticket response. But yes, I need to focus on a new income source....whatever that may be. Because at this point it’s like “beating an old horse.”

It's a real shame that the support side of things is lacking on chaturbate, I know they have a lot to deal with on a daily basis and 99% of the time they are actually helping us. Banning illegal disgusting cams etc. What if they actually wound up with suicide on their hands?

It would be really handy if the thoughts of the people that create the income for chaturbate were considered and discussed in a support meeting. If a few things were tweaked (like expanding the support team so it can be slightly more personal and sensitive for users) bans could be dealt with quicker, models struggling with mental wellbeing could receive some sensitive advice, perhaps they could have their own forum for self help that you must be an active member of in these kind of situations.

Also, I think its daylight robbery that should your account get banned for something trivial like this, they take all your cash. That's stealing. It should at least be an auto cashout. Fair enough if they have evidence of you being racist or committing illegal acts but if you got banned cause a grey reported you for being too sensitive..... that's total speculation and therefore cb are stealing from their clients.

It would be near impossible to prove in court that CB is at fault for someone committing suicide on cam. I don't even think there is any precedent for something like that. Plenty of people have live streamed suicide on Facebook and as far as I know no one has won a lawsuit against them. Also you could only really sue for emotional distress, but at least in the U.S., there would be no chance of winning.

The rule for this sort of claim – called “negligent infliction of emotional distress” (NIED) – generally requires that:

• the plaintiff was near the scene of the incident;
• the plaintiff’s observation of the incident caused significant distress;
• the plaintiff and the victim were closely related.

Well I was banned for a trivial reason. And yes I agree I feel like I was robbed of the money I worked hard to earn. I requested a payout of the tokens in my account, and as I wake up today, and check my email see support continues to keep my money and not respond. I only sent multiple tickets AFTER they failed to respond to my original response to their response. I panicked because I really need the cash to pay for my cats medical.

I sincerely believe that this is unethical, unprofessional and stealing.

Just my view from reading and hearing over the last 10 years with people who had similar issues and other issues on CB.

Creating multiple support tickets can cause a persons issues to be pushed towards the back of the line.
Only thing I can suggest is to be patient and wait. Many others have to wait as well.

As for on ACF. @punker barbie is a busy person. She does not have to answer anyone's issues on this forum. She does this in her free time.

Responding to the original ticket and doing as support asked didn’t work either. I think waiting over a week for a response to an issue as important as your account is awful. Support responded to my DMCA takedown requests in less than 48 hrs. So I can only conclude they are choosing not to respond to my account issue for reasons only they know.
