I have been getting people asking about me on Pornhub. I don't go on there, nor have a membership, It is too dangerous, as local people are on there.
Just today someone said my cam was on there last night, but no connection. WTF. Third time.

Anyone else? How do I get off there. I am on SM too. Do they do this? No one on there mentioned it, but on SC, lots have.

Pornhub cams is a white label of SM, so anytime you broadcast on SM you are also being broadcast on all the SM whitelabel sites. All of your geo restrictions will still apply to the whitelable sites.

I've seen thumbnails + clips of SM camgirls when I have adblock off on pornhub on regular videos. So keep that in mind - even though you don't want to be on this site, you might still be showing up when they're not on the live cams category.

I really feel your pain on not wanting local people to see you, but even if we use geo blocking, our content gets ripped/reuploaded/advertised elsewhere where we have no control over how it spreads.

And if someone is using a vpn, they will be able to see you. If you're worried, it might be a good time to re-evaluate if this job's pros outweigh the cons.

I have done this since 2004, and no other site has exposed me. So that isn't true. SC is my newest one, and the only one. I don't use it much anymore, because they don't let you ban free loaders. On SM, I kick them, they come back, and tip me, or they weren't going to anyways. It is good for a little side site though.

Surely if you type in your online name into google now, you'll see several reuploads of your content? That's what I meant by "our content gets ripped/reuploaded/advertised elsewhere where we have no control over how it spreads."

Thanks for explaining. So is it just another portal to SM, or do they use it to bulk up their number of cam thumbnails etc for their own benifit? Is there a place we were told about this? The thing I don't understand is, the customers were coming in Strip Chat. No one on SM ever mentioned it.

Don't you feel it is different, to have your stuff taken by strangers, than something being sold, or uploaded, or offered by the site you work for?

if the videos are ore recorded (videos uploaded to pornhub and not your acctual live cam) then you can email pornhub to have them removed or moved to your account so they can pay you the ad revenue on them. if they are uploaded videos then those are more than likely being recorded through stripchat, all the token sites have people that use bits to recorded all the rooms, ppm sites don't seem to have this issue, I assume because there's no free shows so it doesn't make for content that they can easily make money from.

pornhub cams is just streamate with pornhub branding on it.

One question: is there anything ongoing to fight stolen webcam shows? I'm asking generally, at political level or camsites level. Does Stripchat protect models (and its copyrighted content), by preventig and discovering through Internet?

I guess they're totally exposed until they knows about their own shows ripped. Not only that, also websites selling subscriptions to users to access thousands of camrips.

This is not a complain to just stripchat, but generally speaking, I'm how do cam sites do manages that thing.
It's not only some sites are doing money with stolen copyrighted content, it's also about the rights on honour and intimacy of affected models.

And as far as I know, some of those sites selling that content are the same company than company or correlated to the cam site.

It's also possible that I'm screwing around because I ignore what's behind those sites. They could have agreements between sites and covered legally.
