On CB why are the "model's" name different color when DM chat is selected??? I notice one model was blue another light green and another gray??? what is the meaning This is when i view the 'Direct Message selected on the upper right on desktop version. TIA

Not sure why you're bothered by it but it's just how many tokens they have tipped out or if they're a fan club member. Our user names are no different than a viewer's, except for when we are broadcasting.

I tried to convince CB to remove colored names from verified models on DMs but they left it there. The public should not be able to see that information.

Color is the amount of tokens transferred (not only tipped)
If they transfer (for cash out or to the main studio account or tip) all their tokens they become grey.
If they earn some tokens after that they are light blue.
if they leave some tokens on their account after transfer they become dark blue , purple etc.

Opening DM , even if you can't DM , also tells you the real color of mod's and fans.

non interesting and useless information ..........

Um, why not? Oh no! A model tipped, the horror!!! 🙃 or are you just mad that it reveals models are token recycling?

Thanks, seems like that info is a reminder/inform the model. At 1st I thought maybe related to status of message such as DM responded or not...

well since droopla already mentioned it, it allows people to see whos part of a studio and who isnt because you can see when they cash out.
What harm comes from this?

Ok but what are the consequences of someone seeing that?

Some users are against tipping models in studios. Some models prefer to say that are independent, some of the satellite studio models consider themselves independent and some of them kind of are as the studio might only be for payments.

Some guys don't like blondes or big boobs or blue eyes...no one is watching DM to go "ooooh I caught her, she's a studio model."

It's pretty obvious when models work for studios. They push a lot harder for content sales and smile like their lips were pinned to their ears.

Some do which is why I brought it to CBs attention

Edit: it's the whole list if my memory serves me correct, you don't have to be looking at the specific DM.

...that isn't the case....makes me think of that creepy "smile" movie

While this is generally true, my username is stuck on light blue. I can tip 5k tokens and it stays light blue. I don't have it set to act this way. I've contacted CB about it but they don't seem to understand the issue. Idk how to fix it 😅

Its happening regardless of who you tip or are you just tipping someone thats tipped you before?

It stays light blue, regardless of who I tip. I tip to support several lesser known models with my token earnings, they do not typically tip me back.

Previously I suspected that it might not change because I earned the tokens which were tipped to the models with instead of buying them. But I tested it by buying $20 of tokens and tipping them. Still stayed light blue. 🥴

I'm stuck. 😅

There are 2 ways to get a color
1) you bought tokens
2) you have tokens

If you bought tokens you stay colored even if you spend them all.
if you spend all your tokens ( or cash out ) and you never bought them you go back to grey.

beats me, did you try going into your chat settings, setting your color and then unsetting it? when you spend all your tokens you stay light blue too? When you buy tokens is it with a credit/debit card or another method?

Did you buy 2 10.99 packages or upgrade to supporter for $20 and 200 free tokens?

I had a supporter account for several months. I've purchased more than $50 in tokens. I regularly tip other models some of my earned tokens as well, probably about 3-4k tokens per month. No matter what, I stay light blue.

I have also tried switching my chat name setting color, hoping it would have an effect, but no.

Tbh, it bothered me a lot at first, but I don't mind it so much anymore. Some people don't take me seriously for it, but that's their loss. 🙃
