Can you explain the difference between selectively muting and silencing? Does it mean that they can continue to post unaware but that other members cannot read their chat?
Most apps/bots do the muting in such a way that the user can't tell they are muted which is really the best way.
As I was saying earlier there's a lot of apps/bots with built in gray filtering that's on by default (selectively hiding their chat, not every line they send but some) unless the model turns that feature off or happens to use apps/bots with absolutely no gray filtering (it's extremely common to have some sort of gray filtering in combination apps/bots like all in one, dream bot, etc etc) it's not a guarantee or anything but usually when someone says light blues are worse than grays it's usually because they sit in rooms with some form of gray filtering because without any gray filtering at all the grays are pretty bad. With the bots that have filtering it's not everything that grays say that gets filtered it's just some of the things the bot flags that gets filtered.
I like it when they know they are muted. Let them know they are facing consequences!

Well it being an app feature is kind of moot if no one knows which apps. Best to just silence greys out the gate qith the site settings and let them sort themselves on their own.
I've converted greys to blue without ever interacting with them until they bought tokens and said as such. Then I welcome them to flock and show them a good time.

....Grays? They just make another username and come right back. They learn their lesson eventually with enough people ignoring them because they can't be seen.
Valid points although I always felt that the ones making the new usernames were the malicious fuckers. Most other greys, when silenced, just fuck off and annoy another model.
Not for this Company. They have lots of new models coming and going. They monitor them for their safety so they don't reveal any personal info.

Oh, darlings, I'm honestly surprised by messages in this thread. I'm so blessed with my main moderator, who is extremely helpful in both my friends room where we have 500-1500 viewers and my own solo little page with 20-50 viewers. I strongly believe that with a good team you can do way more than alone.
He is such a treasure and that's what he helps with:
- moderating chat of course, keeping it classy and reminding the rules politely
- keeping the conversations alive, keeping the warm atmosphere interacting with our regular viewers (and he can speak 3 languages!)
- creating beautiful and funny banners for the chat
- tracking statistics of views, followers growth, earnings and the most important analizing it, giving advices on what worked well
- creating apps for our needs
- editing videos
- giving ideas and inspirations
and many more

The issue isn't that there aren't good moderators out there but rather that there are too many wanna-be mods who seek -- and manipulate models to get -- the role for ego gratification or status or freebies.
oh, got it then!
In this case my only thought is to set expectations from both sides and clear rules
