Can anything be done about the Stripchat moderation team ignoring policy violations to protect a model?

Hi - I have come here not sure if posting my complaints here will yield any different results, but I'm more than a little frustrated with a situation that I have been working through unsuccessfully with the Stripchat support and mod teams.

A little while ago, I had an exclusive private show with a model on Stripchat. It was very clear by the end of that private that it was not exclusive at all and that an entire public audience was watching and contributing to what was happening the whole time. Now, I'm not new to this and I know this happens often. Only I just recently discovered that this is actually a violation that is against the site rules. It is at this point that some reading this might wonder why I care so much if I know this is something that happens. The reason is because I have my own reasons to believe that the model was intentionally giving me an obscured version of the show she would have otherwise given me if not for the fact that she was letting a large public audience watch for free, but that is irrelevant to the case.

I have submitted 2 reports at this point and I appealed both of them, with all results being the moderation team claiming firmly that no wrongdoing was done. For reference, I was able to locate a lengthy Chaturbate public stream on some random site from the date in question that shows my Stripchat exclusive private being broadcast to public audiences on Chaturbate for free. My account also has the saved recording of the exclusive show, that can be used to verify the footage. My understanding had been that this is all the type of evidence that would be needed, but again, the mod team says this is totally OK and no violations were found.

It is very clear that because this model brings in viewers, that she is being protected by the moderation team, as there is literal video evidence of the policy violation that I shared with the mod team. Has anyone come across a similar situation and actually had success in getting their report pushed through?

Hi — I’m a Community Manager with Stripchat. I can’t discuss account-specific or moderation decisions publicly, but I do want to make sure your concerns were routed and reviewed properly.

I’ll send you a private message so you can share your username, email, and any related ticket numbers. From there, I can ensure everything is documented and followed up through the correct internal channels.

Thanks for raising this — I’ll reach out shortly via PM.

Again, this is very simple. Is what the model did against your rules; it's a simple yes or no. This user did go through your proper channels and provided said evidence. Without going into naming and shaming any specific model, it's very possible to state here publicly to everyone, if what was done was against the rules or not and then for you to take appropriate action of said model. I do hope these industry representatives will stop hiding in private messages.

I need to be very clear here.

We cannot determine whether something was a rule violation — or comment on enforcement — without reviewing a specific account and case. At this point, there is no identifying information provided that would allow me to look into anything at all.

We also will not ask for or collect private account information in a public forum. That is exactly why verification and follow-up happen via private message.

This isn’t about “hiding” or avoiding transparency.

If the account holder wants this looked into, the next step is to respond privately with the required details. Without that, there’s nothing further we can review here.

Closing the loop, the situation was reviewed internally and the user was issued a refund after their initial conversation with Support.

As a reminder, we don’t discuss moderation outcomes or enforcement actions related to individual models in public forums. Those details are only shared directly with the account holder involved. Thanks so much!

Following up here to confirm that Elira did in fact get back to me in our private conversation.

One thing that I do need to clarify since this came up - the refund mentioned here was not issued in recognition of the fact that the model was violating the rules, but rather it was issued because I had expressed intense dissatisfaction to the support team with how the exclusive went. At the time, the support team was very careful to ignore the parts of my complaint related to the external public stream watching the exclusive. It was also a very small partial refund, the sort the support team gives users that frequently buy tokens when they are complaining about something.

Since this has now come up, I also must mention that I made it very clear at the time of that initial conversation with the support team that the model was streaming our exclusive to public audiences. They did not take that opportunity to mention that that is a violation of the rules and I discovered that myself much later on, and more recent conversations with the support team (after I filed the reports I mentioned above) also yielded no results in terms of them being able to do anything to help.

I'm just noting this down for full transparency for folks looking at such forums in the future - I have no idea how the nuances of these investigations work, but Elira did reach out and do her best to help me as she said she would.

Thanks for the clarification. To close the loop for anyone following along: The matter was reviewed internally, and a refund was issued through Support as part of the resolution, which the user was satisfied with at the time.

We don’t revisit or debate refund rationale, moderation findings, or internal review processes in public forums once a case has been closed. Those details are handled privately and directly with the account holders involved.

For future concerns, reaching out to the Community Management team early can often help prevent situations from escalating or becoming prolonged. A lot of people don't know this. My inbox is always open for the original poster and others alike.

I won’t be adding further public comments on this thread.

I understand, I was not trying to debate or revisit refund rationale. You are the one that brought up this refund, and I was simply clarifying that it had nothing to do with the conversation being had here because it was not offered by the support team for the reasons we have been discussing. Additionally, none of my current complaints here mentioned the transactional side of things at all so again, it is irrelevant. This is entirely about the principle to me. Thanks again for your help - really, I mean that!
