I second the brio, defiantly my number 1 choice... There is a cheaper cam with the brio name out there(don't get that one), make sure its the one thats 4k and does 90 degree FOV. That 90 degree FOV is really wide and nice for a main cam that isn't moving. This cam seems to have the best microphones out of all my other cams too.

I also like the OBSBOT Tiny 2. It has actual optical zoom and can reach my couch in the background without losing any quality. The AI tracking sucks on it though, as for streaming it likes to keep your face centered in the shot instead of your body. You can get a remote control for this too, but it's Windows only.

I use a cheap Vitade 862PRO for a secondary floor cam that I always keep on a tripod with everything kind of loose, so I can move it around all over for different shots live. It has a little built in ring light too. I just don't like that the cable is attached to it so you can't put a longer one on it. But its only like $55 and would work as a main cam if on a budget. Just plan on upgrading eventually.

:) I prefer the 70 degree FOV because the stuff on a 90 FOV is stuff no one is allowed to see. :) The 65 degree FOV is too tight, though.

lol I can totally see that, it puts my entire room into the shot almost. Sometimes I use the 65 degree as a zoom for certain actions.

haha, yeps, you and @Vixxen81 saved me from accidentally getting the doppleganger

love my brio 4K, it's so forgiving when I want to play around with lighting

@BlackWizard on the lighting tip those pics you posted of the blurry background lights with your Insta look hella cool too

Honestly i've used the Logitech c922 pro stream webcam for years and I love it, very crisp for 1080p and natural.
Lately I've been experimenting with the paid version of Camo Studio and I really love it. It is a program that allows you to use your smartphone as your webcam in OBS. Used my iPhone and had my first 1440p stream today which was cool.
