Hello everyone,

I’ve been contacting Stripchat support repeatedly, but they are not responding or fixing the issues with my account. Instead of giving clear reasons for their decisions, they’ve left me waiting without explanation.

At this point, I’ve already filed a formal complaint with CNPD Luxembourg, so I believe the case will move forward under their authority. While I wait for CNPD to take over, I plan to continue sending emails to Stripchat support to show regulators that Stripchat avoids being open about the reasons behind their actions.

I also have evidence that Stripchat made a decision about my account and documents that was not correct, which strengthens my case.

My question is: Has anyone else here faced the same silence from Stripchat support, and how did you handle it while waiting for regulators to step in?

  • Sorry to hear that.

If you were banned, they usually give the reason in the email they send, did they not do this?
Yes, they did give me a reason — they claimed my documents were “inauthentic.” But that reason was incorrect. I have multiple confirmations from their own staff and screenshots proving my documents were valid, and moderation itself approved them before the block.

Because of this contradiction, I’ve already escalated the matter to CNPD Luxembourg. While I wait for regulators to take over, I continue sending Stripchat a reminder email every single day to document their refusal to comply.

I want to make it absolutely clear: even if this process takes years, I will not let it go. The only way I’ll stop is if Stripchat shows me the evidence they relied on to block my account, or they fix my account and comply with GDPR.

If they are claiming your documents are inauthentic, I can understand why you're so angry about it, I would be too, with them not replying to give clear explanations.

SC is very diffacult to reach and you probably won't get anywhere with this. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Most appeals are usually rejected.

After doing further research...
The general purpose of the CNPD (Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données) is to protect personal privacy and ensure that data protection laws are followed in Luxembourg.
What or how does Stripchat's banning of your account have anything to do with your personal privacy protection?

Stripchat’s corporate seat is in Cyprus, but under the GDPR framework any EU resident has the right to lodge a complaint with their own national supervisory authority. That is why CNPD Luxembourg is a valid channel — it enforces GDPR rights for residents in its jurisdiction and can escalate cases to the Cypriot authority under the “one‑stop‑shop” mechanism.

This matter is not simply about “account banning.” Stripchat accused me of submitting “inauthentic documents” and then refused to correct my data. That is a direct violation of GDPR Articles 5 (accuracy), 12 (transparency), 15 (access), and 16 (rectification). Identity verification and account access are inseparable from personal data accuracy, which places this dispute squarely within GDPR’s scope.

The statutory deadline for response has expired. Silence and contradictory statements are being documented as evidence of deliberate obstruction. This is not discretionary platform policy — it is a breach of EU law, and Stripchat is already under regulatory scrutiny.

Yes, it enforces GDPR rights for residents within its jurisdiction, of which Stripchat is not. That's my point. Other than the CNPD filing a "complaint," it's highly unlikely if what you're seeking will be accomplished.

Not exactly. The articles 12, 15, 16 of GDPR which are right of access, right to rectification, duty to respond within one month are correct and apply to personal data processed for identity verification. You can submit whatever, and they can claim whatever... they haven't violated your personal privacy that I am aware of.

In reference to scrutiny, maybe so, but not for what YOU are accusing them of. You're conflating two different things. So I'll ask again, how does Stripchat's banning of your account have anything to do with your personal privacy protection? Making accusations is not the same thing as not protecting your privacy. How specifically have they violated your privacy?

Privacy under GDPR is not just about secrecy, it’s about lawful, accurate, and transparent processing of personal data. Stripchat violated my privacy by:
Recording false data about me (“inauthentic documents”).
Refusing my right to rectification even after proof was submitted.
Withholding transparency by refusing to disclose the audit trail.
Ignoring the statutory one‑month deadline to respond.
Identity verification is personal data processing. When Stripchat misrepresents that data and refuses to correct it, that is a GDPR privacy violation under Articles 5, 12, 15, and 16.
Before filing, I consulted data protection lawyers, who advised me to proceed. CNPD Luxembourg reviewed my evidence and confirmed there are elements strong enough to move the case forward. CNPD does not accept complaints without proof, so the fact that my case was accepted shows the evidence is sufficient.
I initially tried to resolve this with Stripchat in good faith, but they refused. Now the matter is in the hands of regulators, and the outcome will be determined under EU law.

You can log a GDPR complaint in your own country about a company located in another EU state.

National supervisory authorities cooperate through the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). For cross-border cases, the lead authority coordinates with the other involved authorities.

Hello @Luica

I just responded to you on another thread as well.

Just as an FYI for anyone following this discussion: when someone is permanently banned, the reason for the ban is provided in the email sent to them, and the model is given the opportunity to appeal the decision.

If the appeal is unsuccessful, Support may eventually stop responding to further messages about the same matter. This is because the decision has already been reviewed, the reason has been provided, and the appeal process has been completed. Continuing to go back and forth after that point would not change the outcome.

At that stage, the model is no longer permitted to work on the site, and there is no further action Support can take on the matter.

Having said this, I will take a closer look into your case @Luica, just in case there is anything I can do (I have already PMd you).

I never stated otherwise. What I said...
Yes, it enforces GDPR rights for residents within its jurisdiction, of which Stripchat is not.
Tell me where I am wrong in that statement.

Yes, of course. Again, I have never stated otherwise. And yes, they may or may not choose to coordinate with each other... but that is a choice, not a law GDPR can enforce in another country.

I am NOT disputing that. I am disputing you defining any of those articles to mean something they do not. How have they violated your personal privacy? And again... You can submit whatever, and they can claim whatever... they haven't violated your personal privacy that I am aware of.

This is a misleading framing. GDPR defines privacy broadly, not just secrecy, but also accuracy, transparency, and lawful processing of personal data. If Stripchat falsely labeled authentic documents as “inauthentic,” refused rectification, withheld transparency, and ignored deadlines, that is a privacy violation under GDPR.

My core point is still correct; that CNPD enforces GDPR rights for residents within its jurisdiction, of which Stripchat is not. In my opinion, you're overstating both the jurisdiction and the strength of the GDPR claim. So yes, you have every right to submit your complaint. I never stated otherwise. I only asked what you're hoping to accomplish by doing so. CNPD has no jurisdiction to force Stripchat to change their decisions and/or unban your account. Could it happen... maybe. All I have ever said is that they cannot FORCE any action of Stripchat. So I'm just confused what outcome you're hoping will result from all this?

The outcome I expect is enforcement of GDPR obligations. Stripchat processes EU residents’ identity documents, so they must comply with GDPR. CNPD and the Cypriot authority can impose corrective measures or sanctions if Stripchat refuses. This is not about discretionary appeals — it’s about regulators ensuring lawful, accurate, and transparent data processing.

@SCRIPTA But it’s an EU law, so any member state of the EU falls under the same jurisdiction.

I have no idea about OP’s claim, I doubt they’ll get anywhere.

The result that you want is for the GDPR obligations to be enforced. That might be considered a reasonable general statement. The issue is the kind of thing you are asking the regulators to enforce. They cannot compel a platform to reverse its own judgement about authenticity or to reinstate a banned account simply because the user disagrees with the platforms conclusion. Writing down 'we assessed these documents as inauthentic' is not equivalent to recording false factual information about you; Article 16 does not turn a verification decision into an right of appeal. Yes, the CNPD can pass on the complaint and the Cypriot authority can then check whether the procedural obligations have been met. It is much less probable that they will order Stripchat to unban you or state that your documents are authentic. That is the point I have been making all along. If your real aim is to obtain a formal finding that they had not responded appropriately, then the complaint has merit. But if your aim is to get the account back under the GDPR, then that is a much weaker argument.

Yes, the rules are the same across Member States. Enforcement jurisdiction is not the same. That's my argument here. The law is uniform; the competent authority for deciding the case is not.
I have no idea about OP’s claim, I doubt they’ll get anywhere.
I also share your scepticism that the original claim will get the account reinstated through this route.

Well, let’s agree to disagree 😊

Other than the OP is going absolutely no where with this route 👍🏼

Just to be clear, I’m not against you at all, @Luica. I’ve been in a similar situation myself. I was once banned on another platform for “inauthentic documents” and it took me over a year to get it sorted. So I fully understand how frustrating and personal this feels, and I’m genuinely on the broadcaster’s side here. Whatever route you take, I hope it works out for you in the end.

I love exchanging ideas and being challenged, it shows different perspectives and you look at things differently so thank you both for your insights. I truly appreciate it
