Good point, which had not occurred to me. I should have explained myself in a little more detail. What I had in mind is something like the Model Verification thread or the Profile Help thread. It would collect and summarize the points that forum members make over and over again in response to these posts. Perhaps it would be locked, or maybe it would prohibit posting of caps from tube sites, or maybe the caps would disappear after X months. Hopefully, people seeking information about a cam model would find what they need to know without making a new thread. This includes the need to tip the model (in case they're not familiar with how sites like MFC work).

I find these repetitive "who is this girl" threads annoying, but I also know that some models may see them as one way of gaining new regular members who tip.

As far as asking the uploader, their name isn't even listed on the tube site where I found the video. There must be an option where you can have a video you uploaded not linked on your public profile.

There has to be a way for this get done. There are too many unidentified cam girls that could gain fans and patronage if only they could be identified. As far as content floating around, if the video was recorded of the performer, it isn't going anywhere. At the least, they can make a request to the tube site to have it taken down, if thats whats they want. There are plenty of popular cam girls whose videos you can't find on tube sites because they are diligent at having them removed. On the flip side, fans can discover who they are and if they are still around patronize their rooms.

In my eyes, its a win win for all parties.

A sticky would be the perfect way to help facilitate this. Especially if its something that commonly occurs and annoys regular members. A nice big bold topic will definitely help to keep everyone aware.

Well in his defense, the above situation mentioned doesn't seem to be what's happening at all. It sounds like while cruising internet porn he found a stolen video of a model and is really interested in finding her cam to watch for the first time, but because most cappers are smelly losers who wont even give the models credit... this is nearly impossible without asking around.

I dunno, I really don't see the problem with people trying to find out who the model in a video they stumbled across is. I understand not giving the name of a retired model, for the most part but just a regular model in general? I would hope that if I was the model a member was looking for that someone would help point him in my direction.

JJ is worried that it might be someone she knows IRL that's trying to find her camming profile. If she didn't share this info with him, it's probably because he's untrustworthy and has nefarious plans to out her.

Or she could have switched sites, changed names, etc to hide from a stalker (online or IRL). Why help him find her when she might have been trying so hard to NOT be found?

I know, but you never know the reasons why a model is hard to identify, is all, especially if it's coming from a member with only 1 post. Little off topic, but I had no idea just how widespread capping is. I figured it was limited to the most popular camirls. I'd suggest hopping on Streamate in the evening on a weekday and looking around, as there's a ton of girls on then. I agree with Jerry that it looks like Adelle, but hopping on and using the search feature might help you narrow it down. Good luck!

Okay, this is weird. I knew it was an affiliate, but yesterday when i went to streamate and looked at her profile it didn't have any pictures showing for her. I checked out cammodels and cam4free as well. None of them had her pictures. Cums.com was the only one, so i posted that link just so he could look at the pictures.

Yea, if I'm not mistaken, that's a Chaturbate sound. Also, I've seen videos that have the Chaturbate water mark on the upper right and it looks like someone blurred out something yellow there in the first vid I posted.

I wish there was a way to search performers by attributes as opposed to just being able to see who is active at the moment.
