Need help with a background issue that I am having. I have worked with html but not to much with css. I am trying to make the bio section 100% transparent so that the background that I have uploaded is visible underneath the white my bio area. Can someone help?

I think my description may be incorrect. I am not sure how to describe it exactly. When you scroll down the bio section it shows the about me section and not the white background around the image posted with the information. It is like a two back ground with sliding window effect with the information remaining stationary when scrolling.

Emmm... Do you have a link or some visual material which clears this because from what you posted I got even more confused.
Lucky me, my brain is still working so I will make a guess (deduction) here.
You want a box with a background image and the text (content) inside to stay still even if you scroll down?!
If so... the issue is "upside-down" because the background image of the box is fixed and the text is simple text... no sticky.
Something like this https://jsfiddle.net/cle_dan/ujav378b/ ?

Great ... well... like i've already mentioned... its how you explained but "from bottom to top" :) ... the link i've posted above has the necessary markup to help you achieve that "effect"... background image is fixed (when you scroll, the image is still in the same position) .
Good luck

This may be helpful for new models- HTML doesn't work until you've purchased tokens or been age verified. I spent more time than I'd like to admit trying to get everything to work and thinking I'd gone insane before emailing support and finding that out. Hope this tidbit saves someone from doing the same.

The code added in chaturbate:

<a href="http://somelink" style="border-radius: 2px; display: inline-block; letter-spacing: 0px; background: transparent linear-gradient(to bottom, rgb(122, 188, 0) 0%, rgb(102, 153, 0) 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0%; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-transform: none; padding: 9px 19px; font-size: 17px;margin: 10px 0;width: 15%;">sometext</a>

Changes to:
<a href="/external_link/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsomelink&amp;domain=chaturbate.com" style="border-radius: 2px; display: inline-block; letter-spacing: 0px; background: transparent linear-gradient(https://camo.stream.highwebmedia.co...26f74746f6d2c20726762283132322c203138382c2030) 0%, rgb(https://camo.stream.highwebmedia.com/464d0d0f8312181848e796f481b88b61e70afb51/3130322c203135332c2030) 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0%; color: rgb(https://camo.stream.highwebmedia.co...458a253a8540749c/3235352c203235352c20323535); text-transform: none; padding: 9px 19px; font-size: 17px;margin: 10px 0;width: 15%;" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">sometext</a>

I think there is some problem with html5 parsing

interesting. What library do they use to do the parsing and rendering?
I actually only heard some side chatter the site is written python/django but I actually don't know. would be interesting to investigate just for fun.

What must i do now. Please help me. I cant remove it.
I assume you wanted to add the image as full background page.
this will help
https://camgirl.xniteproductions.co...gory/chaturbate-camgasm-full-page-background/

And to solve your issue... Indeed, you can't access the link in order to edit and remove the code which covers a huge part of your bio page but don't get frustrated... there is a solution , a work around to fix it
https://camgirl.xniteproductions.co...fix-full-page-element-covers-all-bio/#post-54

The other option is using developer console of your browser. A bit more "complex" but the result is the same.
Open the console (right click, Inspect element), in dev console search the element and right click > edit as html, edit the code accordingly, add or change the display to display:none. go back to the page and you'll have access to your Edit My Bio link...

Can someone please help me with the codes from a page to look like this but with a diffrent pic <a href="https://www.imageupload.co.uk/image/DxPU"><img src="https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/10/02/imj675.png" border="0"></a>

The base code
Code:
<p style="display:block;width:100%!important;min-height:2000px;height:100%!important;z-index:-55;position:fixed;top:0;left:0;background-color:#f1f1f1;background-image:url(https://mfcpro.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/amalia_bg_glitter.jpg);background-repeat:repeat;background-size:cover;-webkit-background-size:cover;background-position:center;background-attachment:fixed;"></p>

Change the source image (the url) with your hosted image and you may want to tweak the other attributes based on your image size.
background-size: cover; - will display the image covering all the container, no repeating
background-attachment: fixed; - the background will float even if you scroll down or go up

If you are using a small image and it should repeat itself, change the code attributes accordingly
Sample
Code:
<p style="display:block;width:100%!important;min-height:2000px;height:100%!important;z-index:-55;position:fixed;top:0;left:0;background-color:#f1f1f1;background-image:url(https://dexdan.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/redglove_bg3_pink.png);background-repeat:repeat;background-size:auto;-webkit-background-size:auto;background-position:0 0;background-attachment:fixed;"></p>

you didn't searched enough lol
here you go
Code:
<b style="display:block;width:40px;height:auto;position:fixed;top:166px;left:0px;text-align:center;"><a href="#" style="display:block;width:35px;height:35px;border-bottom:1px solid #fff;cursor:pointer;"><img src="https://editbio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/2twt.png" style="width:35px;height:35px;background-color:#756a47;"></a><a href="#" style="display:block;width:35px;height:35px;border-bottom:1px solid #fff;cursor:pointer;"><img src="https://editbio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/1ama.png" style="width:35px;height:35px;background-color:#756a47"></a><a href="#" style="display:block;width:35px;height:35px;border-bottom:1px solid #fff;cursor:pointer;"><img src="https://editbio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/2insta.png" style="width:35px;height:35px;background-color:#756a47"></a><a href="#" style="display:block;width:35px;height:35px;border-bottom:1px solid #fff;cursor:pointer;"><img src="https://editbio.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mv2.png" style="width:35px;height:35px;background-color:#756a47"></a><a href="#" style="display:block;width:35px;height:300px;background-color:#000;cursor:pointer;"><img src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cssmfc/xniteproductions/master/assets/images/buttons/clte_acre_blkanim.gif" style="width:35px;height:300px;"></a>
</b>
This will display Twitter, Amazon, Instagram, Manyvids and referral animated banner.
Replace the # (hashtag between double quotes with your related links and if you want to change the icon's background color you can do so by editing the HEX color value from this background-color:#756a47 to background-color:#000 this which makes them black

Hello...

Sorry for asking, I know its been asked a million times before I am sure... I tried to read about it and try it, but my eyes are going to bleed if a read another tutorial lol
I am trying to add a photo to my CB Bio Background.
I would like it to cover some of the Bio area, and like it to be somewhat transparent (without breaking rules? Are there rules?)

I have uploaded the photo I want to imgur, and tried a few of the codes that I found in this forum, but non seem to work for me - or more likely I am just doing everything wrong lol

Im NEW to CB and am Html dumb. So I really know nothing - and would greatly appreciate any help!

There are 2 type of backgrounds here.
One for entire page and the other just for your bio (where you type your content, below the gallery)

First one... which is for entire page, the code looks like this
HTML:
<p style="display:block;width:100%!important;min-height:2000px;height:100%!important;z-index:-55;position:fixed;top:0;left:0;background-color:#f1f1f1;background-image:url(https://mfcpro.files.wordpress.com/2017/01/amalia_bg_glitter.jpg);background-repeat:repeat;background-size:cover;-webkit-background-size:cover;background-position:center;background-attachment:fixed;"></p>

The second one is a bit more tricky because you'll need to wrapp your existing content .

<ul style="display:block;width:100%;height:auto;margin:10px auto 20px auto;padding:20px;background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0.10);background-image:url(your-image-url-here);background-position:0 0;background-repeat:repeat;">

all your existing content here

</ul>

this is the basic code...you'll need to edit it as you see fit.
A few pointers
- background-color:rgba..... / its black but with transparency, if you increase that 10 with 50 it will be darker
- background-image: / depending on your image size you can set to repeat, no-repeat
/ position attribute is informing the browser where to render the image (0 0, top center, top left, top right, center center, bottom left..... bla bla bla

In the second example the background image is set to repeat itself... change that to no-repeat if your image is big

Has anyone had any issues with a tiny HTML bio on Chaturbate or any other camsite? I created my bio in photoshop/gimp and originally everything was fine in terms of size. One random day after adding other pieces to my 'about me' section of Chaturbate's bio it just shrunk and no matter what I do (included deleting everything else aside from the bio that had been added to that section) it won't go back to normal size. I've even already edited the bio file in gimp, reuploaded to http://pixxxels.com and pasted the new hotlink to Chaturbate. Still tiny. Anyone with experience in this, please help!!

Looking at your source I see you have no size styles, so it's not that - which I thought it was originally.
I uploaded an image of my own: 1826x3200px and it works fine.

I THINK you may have grabbed the URL for "thumbnail", as I see your image is really tiny 129x800px
I would grab the SECOND link that is given on that site (pixxxels.org) (Direct Link). Or if you prefer, use the second from last one Hotlink for Website, which adds it in the HTML tags you want

@thebeejayshow - additionally to suggestion made by @notyou87 you can add
style="display:block;width:100%;height:auto;" inline style to your image to make it responsive (shrink/expands based on browser size)

Same suggestion for any cb designs full image based .
Why?
1. no need to create a design with huge size (width, height, Mb)
2. the page will load faster
3. the design will display in full and not cut (when you are logged off and visit your own bio page, you'll notice)
4. fluid width will also be mobile-friendly

This is the basic html markup for responsive image (also with better positioning)

<img src="your-image-url-here" style="display:block;width:100%;height:auto;margin:120px auto 30px -146px;">

Pretty simple and effective
