Have you ever been at a hotel that blocked the camsite you work on?

Ive read about some hotels blocking adult content in Yelp and TripAdvisor reviews. Have you ever stayed at a hotel that denied you access to the camsite you work on?

Yes. A resort I stay at every year had blocks on adult content, but this past year when I went the blocks were taken off.

Yeah, most of the hotels I've been to, or free/public wifi hotspots block porn/adult sites. Not entirely sure why (but I mean, what kind of person looks at porn in public?) other than a hunch that it's because these services are for the bare necessities, e.g browsing internet, checking social media, answering emails.

In public areas, yeah, please don't watch porn, but the notion that hotels are blocking people from watching porn in their rooms, the perfect place for porn, is silly.

I've only ever stayed at hotels when traveling with family, so I wouldn't know what is and isn't blocked, since I never tried.

I can see why. Access to endless of porn on the internet drives down porn purchased on their demand.

Ha, I keep forgetting that buying porn on on-demand tv is a thing, what with the only watching Hulu and Netflix for the better part of the past decade.

Seems to me the type to pay for that wouldn't be trying to get on cam sites first anyways. They are hardly increasing business, just making a bunch of men and models shrug and call it a night.

When I see a site blocked I usually ask an employee what's up and more often than not it was block due to groups of kids or some guy watching porn at full volume in the main hall of the hotel. Employees love sharing the asshole stories.
