Hi, for Chaturabte support members If you don't have time to read my thoughts, and guesses just read the green lines plesase.

I got banned recently and honestly have no clue why. My best guess it might be related to my IP setup I'm using a cloud server with private WireGuard tunnels and a static IP address. I had to set this up because CB is blocked in my country, and this configuration gives me much better streaming latency than shared VPNs.

I'd really appreciate knowing the actual reason for the ban so I can understand what happened. I'm wondering if this might have been a false positive triggered by an automated system that flagged my account. Because hours before the ban I was in ticket show of one of the biggest studios rooms I have said words that I think might triggered auto ban (underlined), I saw 2 girls drinking Corona beer, and told them are you over 21 to drink alcohol, you look 18/teens (I don't remember which one I used). It was a genuine question as they looked younger than 21, and I added If I you didn't tell me your age I would assume is 18.

Yes it was stupid comments as I:

  1. I assumed it's alcoholic, as some places they have no alcohol beers,
  2. I assumed that their country only allow 21years old an older to drink.

I've been a loyal member since 2013-2014 and I have never got a violation, and have spent considerable money on the platform over the years which means I enjoyed it and I'm a contributor member.
All I'm asking for is some consideration, or at least the opportunity to have a human review the ban and either reverse it or explain where the violation occurred.

You just answered your question. "No clue why" well your country is blocked and you used methods to get around it, . sounds like your reason you got banned.

I think you're confusing government ISP level blocking with platform geo restrictions. When a government blocks a site, citizens using VPNs aren't breaking rules, they're is taking back basic internet freedom. Using network tools to bypass authoritarian censcorship isn't the same as spoofing your location to access region locked content.. One is about fundamental access, the other is TOS violation.

You completely missed the technical point when I mentioned the datacenter origin specifically because those IPs trigger anti-bot/WAF systems not because "VPN = bad." Thousands use VPNs without bans. The issue is datacenter ASNs get flagged by IDS/IPS systems as potential bot traffic, regardless of the access reason. That's a completely different detection vector than "country bypass."

But I understand if the technical distinction between ISP-level DNS/IP blocking and application-layer geo-fencing isn't clear to everyone.

Dear @punker barbie thank you! I got a reply on the email from support yesterday.
