When I repaired my laptop I setup a tiling window manager, awesome, minimal need to use the touchpad because everything is hotkeys now. Switched back to my desktop and windows was pissing me off with it's window management, tried powertools but fancyzones got to be annoying as they never worked quite how I wanted. Found glazewm, tiling window manager for windows, it's been fucking awesome, auto re-sizing of windows based on the amount of windows open, hotkey chaining support, so I can do hotkeys like alt+shift+v and it opens everything I need to do video editing, so workspace 3 gets davinci resolve, workspace 4 has photoshop and workspace 2 gets a browser window that opens straight to my upload pages (as long as the login cookie is still valid), and it's all navigable by keyboard, very rarely have to use my mouse now outside of the web browser, it's actually removed a lot of the things that were annoying me about how windows works.

Now that official MS support of Win10 is about to end (14th Oct IIRC), I'm really looking forward to not having those updates that you can't avoid.

They are still there, and now Windows ignores group policy too, I have my group policy set to all updates need to be done manually, windows will still like once a month be like "fuck you i'm updating" which completely removes the point of the group policy setting.

Just realized you meant that because win 10 dosnt get updates anymore staying on win10 means that you wont get updates

I don't have too many normie friends in my inner circle (they know what I do) and based on what they picture I do, lol I don't dare advertise to any other normie acquaintances or anything. I'm already misunderstood as the token trans friend to some, I don't need that weird normie attention. lol I don't know why, but I've gotten questions on how one can start posting feet pictures and making money several times. October has been *very* autumnal where I am this year, and after a long, hot, dry summer, I am totally in love with it. The aspens have been exceptionally colorful; a week ago, a dense fog rolled in, and didn't go away for two days; and this evening was the first snow flurries, followed by a crystal-clear night sky. I've been riding my bike in the chilly air, down damp, pine-needle-covered paths and roads, wearing my Halloween sweatshirts, and I couldn't be happier.

Never considered this before, but in an airtight box, does the air surrounding the food insulate it from the cold and slow down the chilling or freezing process enough to matter?

No, I let it cool down first, but pondering how air in a sealed container potentially insulates the food from cooling more rapidly, at least as fast as it would cool without the air gap.

I usually keep a couple empty food storage containers in the freezer. When I'm ready to freeze leftovers, the containers are already freezer cold. Eventually make the leftovers, clean the container, put back in freezer for next time.

Although freezer bags wouldn’t work for soup.

Sometimes I batch cook soup on a Sunday - you just have to wait for it to cool and press down with a ladle so you try and get as much air out as possible.

Pop it in the freezer, take out in the morning, off to the office or leave on the kitchen worktop for a few hours - microwave. Done

I imagine it was Kai Cenat and ishowSpeed, 2 of the most widely known streamers around right now. They cause a huge stir any time they're in public.
