Pirated Tokens.

Hey all,

Got a question for the models.

I've been seeing more often these days, people tipping in rooms, and advertising the Third Party token purchasing. Which I know as a member will get me banned by doing that.. obviously. But I'm curious for you models, what happens when someone does a third party token tip. Do you still receive the same amount? Do the sites take those tokens away like you never earned them? Or maybe the sites can't tell the difference?

The only thing I can speak on is that time I got a 1,000-token chargeback on MyFreeCams (fraud) from a guy I'd gone private with and had received tips from. I believe I'd sent him some pictures and/or videos too. He got all of that from me, and then I wound up getting that damn chargeback. So I'd done all of that work for free.....

a token is a token is a token to us. i didnt even know you could purchase tokens anywhere other than the site.

edit: ive gotten those links spammed before but I always thought they were fake sites designed to steal credit card info so i just ban and report

you do not want to receive "third party tokens" as they are almost always purchased with credit card fraud and many of those people have a history of attempting to collude with models to cash them out.

The one I've been seeing a lot lately links you to a telegram page, where you give crypto for tokens. I assume it's not legit, and they just take your crypto. I don't even know how they could get tokens for sites unless they buy them from the site....

So now it makes a bit of sense. Guy does credit fraud to receive the tokens then sells them for crypto and "gifts" them to your account. Makes sense.

I literally don't know why anyone would even try to use a third party to buy tokens for cam sites, it really makes no sense at all to me. Even when I have no money it's not something I would ever think to do.
Whether or not they take your tokens from you could depend on the site and if it's happened before, I think.

A model i know had someone take her for a private show and spent about 3,000 tokens on her in there, he was a new user to her room but was already purple, she then got suspended a day or 2 later for a week for fraudulent tokens and they said they will be nice and let her keep the tokens this time and won't ban her as she has been on CB for about 10 years. They told her not to accept private shows from NEW members... I mean wait, what? that makes no sense at all. Now she is constantly scared to accept private shows from guys who have never been in her room and tipped her publicly before.

So yeah I think it possibly depends on situations, and sometimes they let the models keep and sometimes deduce SOME or all.

Didn't you know, we are meant to know if the credit card / crypto wallet you used to buy your tokens actually belonged to you. Add physic to the list of jobs that come under the cam model umbrella

Did this happen a long time ago? If not why did they suspend rather than freeze? (Like did the tokens leave her account quickly for some reason).
