The first 2 things that immediately came to my head when I read this topic are the thing mentioned by Vixen about resting face, and what Rod mentioned about irl fucking.
Idk it can be kind of a money maker (the second thing what Rod mentioned), but only if you can steer them toward recognizing the difference between fantasy and reality. If they can recognize that, that is their fantasy, and that you would be willing to go along with it (in a fantasy roleplay context only) you can hard sell those guys. But I will concede the conversion rate does tend to be fairly low there. Usually, they are outta there as soon as they realize that is not the case. Because they are looking for a friend w benefits/ gf, in the wrong place
It also tends to take more time and effort, so it's only something I'll bother with much on slow days. On busy days, there's no need to help them out like that; it's better just to get your guaranteed sale. A lot of overlap with sales in this job, especially on quiet days.
I get pissed about what Vixen mentioned because it triggers my anger over entitlement. I don't understand why anyone would expect to be owed a certain response or action for no reason, before you even get to know them. It's just naive, and completely contextually unaware and unrealistic. And if it's coming from the place over worrying a stranger isn't happy, don't. It's noones place to try to "cheer a cam model up" or take their time, unless they plan on purchasing a service. People don't need to be smiling from ear to ear 24/7. A lot of times my face is serious because I'm thinking about something important deeply, so if you're not getting a show, don't interrupt my train of thought.
