Hi, everyone. I’d like to start a discussion and hear your opinions: Can someone who has been banned from the Chaturbate platform work as a moderator, as long as they don’t appear on camera or interact directly during the stream? Is this allowed, or would it also be prohibited by the platform’s rules? @punker barbie

When you're banned from CB, you're not allowed to have an account.

You need an account to be a moderator.

So by normal reasoning, I'm going to judge that it would be prohibited.

The CB rep won't answer your question, they will merely direct you to support@chaturbate.com, but I imagine other models and users will chime in with their answer as well.

No, I don't think I explained myself clearly. I'm not talking about this person having an account to interact and send tokens.

I'm referring to someone who works behind the scenes as a monitor or stage director: they direct the models during the stream, tell them what to do, and organize the scene, but they don't appear on camera, don't have access to the cameras, and don't participate in the stream itself.

In that specific case, would it also be prohibited for someone who has been banned from Chaturbate to perform that role behind the scenes? @AmberCutie @punker barbie

Not sure how this type of person could be helpful in any way even in a studio setting. But technically, sure, if the camera never sees or hears the person then as far as the censors are concerned they're not there. But that's very sketchy and there would probably end up being some kind of accident where the person gets shown and, is losing the account worth that risk?
