I’ve been submitting GDPR requests to Stripchat for over four months now, but I still haven’t received any assistance from their support department. The matter relates to GDPR rights, but I don’t want to share personal details here in public.

What should a user do when GDPR requests are ignored for this long? Is the next step to open a complaint with external authorities suc, or does Stripchat have another escalation channel that staff can confirm?

I’d appreciate if Stripchat community staff could clarify the official process and timelines for handling GDPR requests.

I googled, and found... Stripchat is governed by the law of Cyprus.

I’ve been submitting GDPR requests to Stripchat for over four months now, but I still haven’t received any assistance from their support department. The matter relates to GDPR rights, but I don’t want to share personal details here in public.

The General Deadline: The response must be sent without undue delay and at the latest within one month from the day the company receives the request. The Notification Rule: Even if a company uses an extension, they must write to the individual within the first month to explain exactly why they need more time.

The countdown begins the day the company receives the request—not the day it gets forwarded to their legal team or Data Protection Officer (DPO). If a company fails to answer within the one-month limit without a valid extension, the individual has the immediate right to log a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
