Just in case anyone needed a nostalgia rush today I present you with CBC's 25 Things You Forgot About Much Music:

Last weekend, while watching a Teen Wolf marathon on MuchMusic, it occurred to me that MuchMusic used to show music videos. In fact, back in the '90s, when MTV stopped showing videos, Americans would rave about MuchMusic for continuing to show music videos.

Those days are gone. Now the nation's music station still plays music videos, but you're more likely to find them showing Mean Girls or Degrassi. You can't just switch over to Much at any time of day and see something cool.

So we decided to compile a list of our memories from MuchMusic's glory days, many of which have been preserved on YouTube after being transferred from some shaky old VHS tapes. Check them out in the gallery above.

So, fellow Canadians, what do you remember / miss the most about vintage Much? I had such a nostalgia rush for the Too Much 4 Much specials, Egos and Icons, and I still wish I could find footage from the Fromage specials. Those were magical and hilarious.

the Fromage specials wtih Ed the Sock were always good

and whenever I pass over ET Canada and see Rick Campanelli, I still call him Rick the Temp lol
