Subject: Update: Stripchat Appeal Denied

Just wanted to update everyone who saw my earlier post about my Stripchat ban. Unfortunately, my appeal was denied.

Even though I was logged off before the violation happened, and I wasn’t the one accepting alternate payments, they decided to hold me responsible because I was a verified broadcaster on that channel. It didn’t matter that I wasn’t streaming at the time — they treated all connected broadcasters as equally accountable.

So, heads up to anyone who ever considers broadcasting as a “guest” on someone else’s channel: if that person violates the rules, you risk losing your own account too. I honestly didn’t realize the distinction between being independent vs. guest until it was too late.

It’s frustrating, but hopefully sharing this experience will keep someone else from going through the same thing.

what do you mean by logged off and "guest"??? you mean delete your ID document before that violation happened on a couple account?

Hello @ninininh

If an account is permanently blocked and you’re registered on that same account, there’s a chance your own document could also be permanently blocked — depending on the nature of the violation.
So, it’s important to only join or share accounts with people you completely trust.

Thanks for your reply and for taking the time to explain, @Stella_SC

But I’m still a bit confused - does that mean I can still get banned even after I completely removed my ID document from that shared account a month before it got permanently blocked? (I honestly didn’t do that intentionally.)
It just feels a bit unfair. It’s like when a studio gets permanently banned, but the models who already detached their accounts still get affected too? - I read that after a studio is banned for 7 days, models can become independent.

Here’s what happened in my case:
  • July 12: I joined account P, and after we finished, I deleted my ID document from that account.
  • August 6: P got scammed by a user who sent him a lot of fake tokens, and Stripchat deducted 100% of his total earnings (Fraudulent Activity).
  • After that time I could still create a new account and receive payments all through September without any issues.
  • October 16: I even got an email saying my ID document was fully approved.
  • Then suddenly, on October 17, when I tried to create a new account (the old one couldn’t start live, just kept loading), my ID got rejected - the email said it’s because of that P’s account had been banned two months earlier....
I really hope my case can still be fixed somehow... 🙏

Hello @ninininh

If you had deleted your documents from their account and then afterwards they violated a rule, you would not be held responsible.

I feel like there might be more to this story.... I will PM you.
