I been streaming on Chaturbate a few months. I see all my live streams have been uploaded to other sites, most likely yours have been too.

Emailed Chaturbate, I get the impression they don't care, they gotta know about these sites, since there are 10's of thousands of uploaded videos from boatloads of streamers.

Just curious, are there any live stream sites that care about their streamers?

Oh Sweety. Every camsite that has public free chat is being recorded and archived on MANY sites that operate in countries that dont adhere to other countries copyright laws.

If you want less of your shows recorded/posted, dont offer public shows. Keep your shows behind paywalls.

I'm actually not very attractive so was a bit surprised anyone would even be bother to do so, it's probably all bots.

To be fair to Chaturbate they said they would send a DMCA takedown notice, nothing has happened as of yet, so maybe saying they don't care is a bit dramatic.

The reason I said it seems they don't care is why haven't these sites haven't been sued or shut down when all they do is steal from streamers and they have no original content at all, it is just live streams they have uploaded from Chaturbate streamers.

Seems Chaturbate has to know about these type of sites, why aren't they more proactive?

Sending a DMCA for my videos is just a drop in the bucket when there are thousands of other streamers videos uploaded there.

I was pretty bummed to see this, is there anything I can do as a streamer to better protect myself?

Oh guess I was a bit naive, what do you mean keep your shows behind paywalls? Like only do private/password shows?

Herman: you've discovered the real downside of camming. Not only are your shows recorded, they are cataloged and placed in searchable databases. The pirated videos crawled over by search engines. Do an image search on Google and you'll likely find still photos of you neatly organized for all the world to see. I've even seen that the pirated videos are cataloged in ways that I don't even advertise. I've been placed in BDSM categories even though I never advertise BDSM in my tags. So your tags or maybe even images are being reclassified in ways that you have no control over.

There's not much you can do. The videos will eventually disappear. I can no longer find some of my earliest video streams. And there is safety in numbers, there's a lot of junk out there for people to wade through.. Just be careful on your screen names and what you put in you descriptions and do frequent searches on your chosen screen name to see what's getting out there.

Oh, and don't think of yourself as not very attractive. Somewhere in this world there are voyeurs who just love you the way you are, guaranteed. There's a sticker on the mirror at one of my hangouts that reads something like: Warning: the image that you see in this mirror is distorted by artificial social constructs of beauty. You are way more attractive than this image appears to you.

"To be fair to Chaturbate they said they would send a DMCA takedown notice, nothing has happened as of yet, so maybe saying they don't care is a bit dramatic."- they dont care. I tried few times. They ask to give link to videos i want take down- so daamn i would need to send them every day videos, starting with few thousands from the site starts from letter R, so after i give them link, they said to wait ONE MONTH for response, and they never respond back:))) im curious how many views my video on other page will have during one month. Best option is use sites like rulta and so on. I didnt try yet but i know it works,.

Thank you everyone, I should have done more research that I did, thought I had all my bases covered before I started streaming. LOL

I don't have my privates set so people get a copy of the private show, seems pointless now, guess Ill change that.

I wish Chaturbate was more clear about the fact that every time you livestream that video is going to be uploaded all over the net, 100% guaranteed going to happen type of thing.

ohwell, live and learn and have your bootyhole all over the net.

Interesting, I will look more into rulta, though I asked chaturbate to send a DMCA, I was going to submitt a dmca as well on sites like but they all say "
Please provide links to content that you believe falls under DMCA. The links should only pertain to our site. Requests containing links to other websites, or lacking information that substantiates your rights to the content, will be declined.
WE accept DMCA requests only from models.
Requests submitted by agents, fans, or any third parties will be rejected
."

also asks for your full name, kinda sketches me out, lol. If they are going to basically steal and upload my livestreams, maybe I shouldn't give them my name on top of it. lol

I would like to remind you that this is the fight against piracy. The pirates may not respect the DMCA takedown request. CB isnt taking down the sites? CB has attempted (see https://recurbate.com/ ) just like the movie industry, music industry, software etc that all have a higher budget have attempted and failed.

The more popular the site the more likely someone has created a bot to rip streams.

If you would like you can do a DMCA takedown request to google to remove the listing, it will get removed soon as google processes it and then won't come back unless they file a counter notice: https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/threads/dmca-submitting-dmca-takedown-requests-to-google.53936/
