I've heard of some cities where the East-West ones are First Street, Second Street, etc., and the North-South ones are First Avenue, Second Avenue, etc.

For example, to get to my hospital we pass 23rd St., turn on 23rd Avenue South and then stop at the light on 23rd West St. on our way there. :shock: Fucking confusing as shit and my gps always gets the names backwards so it makes me confused. I've never been so glad that I don't drive anymore, lol. Luckily there's a one way road that doesn't pass by any of those streets that we take to get home. :lol:

My old neighborhood got a little creative with name. Robin Hood Land. Maid Marian Avenue. Little John Road. Not to bad.
