I've mainly been on MFC and I'm starting to really dislike it. I do well only when some of my regulars are on and a lot of them have vanished. Besides that it's usually really dead for me. I try to start conversations to get my room lively, but half the time lately no one even responds. I only seem to get freeloaders. The thing that's driving me crazy is sitting there for hours at times and having no privates or barely anyone talking. I used mygirlfund for awhile and really enjoyed how I only got on cam when people messaged me for a private so it was just straight to the point. I can't use mygirlfund anymore though since one of my RL friends found out I am on there and I just feel too embarrassed to go on there again since I have to see this guy all the time in RL and it's just awkward. Are there any camsites similar to what I explained? Just getting straight to the point? Or at least any cam sites that don't have so many freeloaders? I've been trying to apply for Streamate, but it's taking forever to get approved.

Cams.com or Streamray is another that is similar to Streamate in how it operates. Give them a shot and avoid the shady sites like the 2 mentioned in the quote above.

Steer clear of them as a member, too. I feel a damned fool after spending years and a fair bit of money at LiveJasimin before discovering MFC and realizing just how much those fuckers stick it to their paying customers. Having to pay for the the simplest social functions is just ridiculous, especially since they pay their models such a low percentage and likely cut them out of all of the periphery charges.

I'm not sure about the chargebacks. You might be thinking of ImLive, which is a site I used to cam on, but I just can't bring myself to close out my account on there...lol. But almost every time I see the name Live Jasmin appear in camming posts, it's about negative experiences, and it's the site that most models tell each other to stay away from. I know it's been said they used to have some sort of 99 cent introductory period or something. The OP could probably find all kinds of tidbits of info on Google.

Since you're already a model, you should get model status here (if you haven't already started this process) to access all the models only section to read through the threads for all the sites to help you decide what sites would be best for you.

CamContacts come close to your wish, the free chat there is only text chat not video, there is not much text chat going on, the model gets a sound signal if a member enters the text chat. You can combine CC with other activities like study (or with 8 other cam sites what the east-europe studio models do).

The rates on CC are low, in the range from 0.50 to 2.50, however models say they have long pvt's there (the model can set the rate). Their are 2 rates, one for 'open video chat', where other members can join, and 'one2one video chat'. One other nice thing for models is the high payout of 80% if the member did sign up there with you as reference, I know 2 models who have transfered their regulars from other sites to CC because of this.

I like the "Adult Softcore / Glamour Girls" section there a lot, sexual services by the model are there optional, in other sections it's mandatory. As a member I find it a nice game, not knowing before if it will be a friendly chat only or a hot session.

Live Jasmin was the first site I worked on, and it was the only time camming I ever felt dirty or abused. I knew I could get chargebacks without question if I didnt do what the member wanted- even though I was in the "teens" categorey there will still guys with hardcore fetishes and humiliation stuff who would trawl the non-kink sections looking for vanilla girls to take advantage of because they knew they wouldnt want to say know.
If you like making 35.% of $2 pr minute and getting fined for leaving to pee or having your pet run in front of the camera, sure its great. :twocents-02cents:

I think Streamate and AdultWork would be good sites for you, and you can cam on both sites simultaneously as long as you feel your internet and computer can handle the splitcamming.

On AdultWork you get 65% for doing group chat/private chat shows, and 70% for doing pre-booked Skype shows. Try not to get too aggravated with all the guys asking "Do you escort?" LOL. They ask this because there's actually tons of escorts listed on AdultWork too.

The AdultWork site can be a pain to navigate, but I think you'll love the fact that free chat (I think they call it 'free preview') is optional. If you choose to do it, you can set it for as little as 5 minutes free preview. If you don't want to do free chat, you can just choose to do paid chat mode only where a guy can just buzz you to request group or private chat.

My first month cam modeling I was on flirt for free. In 4 weeks I made 250,000 credits + the affiliate money I made made me almost 11k that first month camming. Even tho I am no longer there due to their indifference in the way their models are treated by some of the staff, I still get commission checks every month my highest was $700 and lowest was $230 = that is for doing nothing at all I just keep making a chunk off of people I got to sign up thru my link and will until they stop using the site.
