I'm honestly looking for success stories with mods.

I've never had a mod that actually did anything constructive for my room. They just remind ppl to tip and interrupt the flow of the chat for me. I do better without them literally all the time. Then when the room is like super busy and I'm trying to do more performing than watch the chat, they are not even moderating anyways! Plus when they do actually mod, they are way too aggressive with their "modding"

lmao no one has even asked to mod unless its slow af too, like "no.... clearly I don't need one rn", which makes me think of them as total free loaders looking for an excuse to be relevant. I just can't stand when anyone that has tipped zero trys to tell others to to tip, and I think the room doesn't like it either.

I've banned all mine and since disabling chat for non token holders, no one even asks to mod anymore, but I see mods be talked about here often. What are the success stories some of you have with a good mod. How did you find your loyal bootlicker(lol)? I'm not looking for one, I'm just curious. There must be some good ones out there. A busy room for me is like 120 ish, and a pretty normal room for me is like 60-80 viewers. Maybe they are just more relevant for the 500+ rooms idk?

this is all on chaturbate.

You dont need mods. They are useless.

Nailed it.

As a member/viewer I find most mods to be annoying AF. The only person you should maybe allow to mod for you is your significant other, and that's still a maybe.

Mods are good if you have hundreds or thousands of very active people and somebody need care if somebody didnt write something against TOS or just to keep people acting good, but if room is small like mine- mod can make people not active. I had mods , very good tippers, mostly mods are camgirls best tippers and guys knows that If is lazy, mod will start play to encourage guys or will make camgirls goals., They are smart AF, so they will wait til mod do something , so they dont need to do nothing;P Without mod i was doing way better. But thing is that many guys who wanna be mods are attentive and wanna show like I AM THE MOD! I will spam chat AF so everyone can see me! But i had once real mod: he was in the corner, quiet, observing, reacting when he needed, didnt even try to tip too much, so they can start first. At the end he was always completing my goals because those guys did nothig. He was really sweatheart also my best tipper ever. But after he gone, i learned how to not count on one person and deal with other guys. Good mods can make us and other guys lazy :) I mean , i dont know how others, but from my observations- mods are girls best supporters and guys just know that

I could see well-trained Mods being helpful in a bustling room. However, with a very limited number of tasks, in very clear-cut situations, where there would be no ambiguity, and things would be extremely black and white.

Like for example, the guys who come in and ask the easy questions, they don't really need to, because the info they need is already posted in plain sight. Or the trolls who are such obvious haterbaters, that it takes 0 problem solving or nuance/ understanding to immediately see what they are there for. Or the dipshits who are purposefully being ignored, but keep repeating the same question, because they think you just haven't noticed them yet.

However, there are so many nuanced interactions and situations that appear one way, but could be so many other things, and which only an experienced cam model/ streamer would understand & recognize. In those cases, it would be super clunky and unhelpful to have a newbie involved. I think they could be valuable if truly able to listen, take orders, not overstep, and remember things. Otherwise no. Your typical dude is gonna constantly get stuff twisted and confused, and lose the model money & fun.

Hell, I'll be real with you, half the employees on the actual sites themselves are so blind to so much, that they are losing their sites money. And those are people in paid positions. So, yeah, I'd agree that they are close to useless in most situations.

(Whoops, kinda glazed over your first sentence there. Tbh I would consider a mod, but they'd have to be a special kind of person, and it's not really a paid position where you can demand the cream of the crop. I wouldn't even deal with my boyfriend (of close to a decade) doing it. Because I know fine well he'd go off rogue and drop the script, thinking he knew best, and thus driving me absolutely insane.)
