Are suspensions and bans the same thing?

Hi, I was recently suspended on CB - I'm unable to broadcast. I've already contacted CB support and am waiting on a reply -- I think I was banned for being too intoxicated on stream. Is it likely that my account will get unsuspended, or is this considered a perm ban (my account doesn't say banned though- just suspended.)

I'm just trying to get an idea of whether there's a chance I'll get a second chance or if I should expect to be banned indefinitely. Thank you

It looks like your ID is revoked (your not banned)
Most likely you have to upload your ID again
but it can also be under investigation , just wait till you get answer from support.

Then it's not a ban it's a broadcast suspension. As far as answering the question "Are suspensions and bans the same thing?" it just depends because CB support calls many non permanent bans suspensions too.

i checked the account and it's exhibitionist.
so it will , most likely, need a new upload of ID's
but you never know what cb's reason was , so wait for their responce

being too intoxicated on stream will get you suspended/ban on any cam site. you need to be sober. you cannot properly give consent to sexual acts.

while you are waiting, sign up for another site. be sure to control yourself. sips of wine/beer is okay depending on the sites tos, but you need to be careful. if you feel yourself getting too under the influence, log off and sober up.

Umm, I made another post requesting that punker Barbie looked into my CB suspension as I haven’t heard back from support after a week. I’m sure they have lots of emails to get to, and I understand, but Reddit told me to come here and post, tagging punker barbie. Am I not allowed to make two completely separate posts- it’s not like they were identical - one was asking for help, one was asking a separate but related question. This was rude and unnecessary, I just joined this site and am unsure of the posting rules. Please be kinder.

Oh ok it's not commonly used but from what ive seen it's usually intended to be temporary.
