Any purveyors of asmr out there among the camming community? (Or indeed among ACF?)

There are a very small number I know of on mfc. I've only recently discovered Internet_Art (formerly BelleEpoque) who does dedicated shows, and there are a handful of others who are either tagged with it or have it as one of the strings to their bow. (And then there's the wondrous Sandy_Bee who has a great asmr voice but doesn't actually advertise herself as such.) I haven't investigated other sites.

I'm surprised there isn't more, with it being such a growth area, but I guess there's already such an extensive youtube community. Still, I'm interested to know of any others, particularly anyone doing it live. (Also, interested to know how much demand there is for it from other members. Maybe it's just me ...)

I'm sooo glad you made a thread about this. :) When my favorite YouTuber mentioned in one of her videos that she enjoys ASMR videos, I was like "ASMR? What the hell is that?" Then I looked it up and watched some of the videos. It's really cool! I even attempted to make one the other day (with the intention of putting it up on Clips4Sale) of me reading "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch.

Cherry Crush has made ASMR videos and also has a an MV profile, though I don't know if she does live camming.

BellaBrookz cams on MFC and also has an ASMR youtube channel. Surprisingly, I found her through her youtube channel first! Bonus, some of them are really funny!

I'd really like to find some quality ASMR style erotic videos, especially with a quality binaural microphone.

@Kradek I believe Cherry Crush occasionally cams on Chaturbate! I don't think her live camming shows ever feature ASMR triggers, though.

I find that massage videos (especially g/g) sometimes trigger ASMR for me, personally. (Not really trying to turn this post into an advertisement but I have one video with @Picnic that is exactly this!)

I want to make more sexy ASMR-inducing content, though... ladies? Hit me up for collaborations? Members? Hit me up with your requests? LOL?

I use a lot of asmr techniques. The closest I've ever come to describing it really is 'sensual erotica' and I offer 'sensual domination'. Until just now I had no idea there was even a term for it. I will do some research into how I can develop this more fully through videos x

I do ASMR in privates, have a really nice mic and setup for it. Never do it in my room though, privates only. ^_^ I used to have a couple vids, but they're archived now and I don't sell them often... might make a few more soon!

Pretty sure that BabyZelda does them on her youtube channel but I think sometimes she sets her sound up to do them for live shows too.

Bella was one of the ones I knew about on mfc, yeah, I even bought the asmr vid she was selling on it - but I'd still totally failed to realise she had a separate youtube channel. I'm on it.

I think part of the reason why there hasn't been much 'erotic' stuff done is because the youtube community has, by and large, been very keen to distance themselves from any relationship with porn or camgirl-type stuff. Which I understand, because many find asmr is not a sexual thing, and get a little annoyed by people suggesting otherwise.

... so I'm going to have to annoy them, because for me personally there is definitely a relationship to my sexuality. They're not the same thing, but they're related. I think that is, almost certainly, something to do with my tendency to submissiveness - I can get the same curious and wonderful mixture of outer goosebumps and inner calm from both those things. (Which is where @xKatieBabyx 's "sensual domination" comes in.)

What type of additional tech are performers using to achieve live ASMR? Without the right mic/setup, it's not really ASMR, at least as I understand it.

You're right that better mic set-ups help, but you can get asmr triggers from - potentially - anything. For me it's primarily voice, and while binaural mics etc can add to that, it's not essential.
(I don't even know whether mfc or other cam-sites have the ability to broadcast binaural stuff - anyone know?)

Never checked it with a meter, but I'm pretty sure MFC is mono. Gunner's right, stereo is the minimum for true ASMR, then again it's about a response in the listener and that varies greatly - including no response at all. A lot of the artists on YouTube put a great amount of effort into their shows and leave me completely unaffected. I upvote their vids for what they put into them.

For me certain voices work, and then only sometimes. Since AwesomeKate has already been mentioned I'll use her for an example. When she's speaking with the room mic nothing, but when she pulls her vocal mic up and speaks before singing it can trigger me. Close presence mic technique is damned near mandatory for me, but if that worked with all voices I wouldn't be able to listen to NPR news in traffic.
