I have used my Chase debit card many times on Streamate and several times on ManyVids. They have never had an issue with me doing that.

It's not every time but they will flag you on high limit sessions like $800 or more

I have never been able to get my Bank of America credit card to work on CB -- it's always been denied. I use my Chase card without problems. Until now I couldn't have imagined it might be that Bank of America doesn't want me watching naked women.

Unless your spending more than $800 in a session you won't get flagged. I have a pretty big spender on IWC and he has to load the money in his account before spending (because he buys a shit ton of content) I'm sure someone like that would get flagged but for the everyday guy, you should be fine!

Citi bank is sex-worker friendly. Wells Fargo is, too, but they're shady bastards and I wouldn't trust them with my penny jar, let alone my income.

Some models have good luck with smaller local banks and/or credit unions, while others have been burned very badly by them. This is my preferred route, just check to see if they have a "morality clause" in their terms of service - if they don't, you're good to go. If they do, avoid!
Looks like Wells Fargo isn't sex work friendly anymore.

They have come out as sex worker friendly, My lawyer said theres NOTHING in the TOS. I opened a business account no issue so Im not sure why they are giving her issues?

If Banks want to freeze assets of course they can. Remember no one is "technically" safe in this industry. At any point they can deem us "high risk" which is bullshit.

Could because of her credit. When mine was shit they wouldn't let me open one.

This article is talking more about a potential additional bill but reinforces what I said before about banks using their 'risk assessment' clauses as a back door to doing this anyways.

The main issue is most of this stuff is being pushed through bi-partisan so unless a larger lobby gets involved these things are eventualities regardless of which party is in power. At the very least even if there's democrat opposition it's still not important or political enough for them to overturn. This will be another stalled out issue which cost too much political capital to actually correct. Like how democrats when they have the votes won't actually deal with campaign finance reform or force marijuana down from schedule 1.

I agree with you. I'm not sure where a larger lobby would come from though given the public perception of sex work. Maybe from the pot legalization crowd since some of the risk assessment rules could cross over to them as well?

I remember watching a piece on a news program back when marijuana dispensaries first started opening in newly legalized states about many of their banking woes. I don't know if that has gotten any better now that more states
(including a surprising amount of red ones) either have legalized it or are close to it but I highly doubt it.

For models and other sex workers familiarizing themselves with their bank's TOS should be part of the safety checklist that comes with the standard advice for getting started.

It's 2018 and we still can't make people stop judging people based on their skin color or gender, what hope do we have for equal treatment for sex workers? None, the human race is not evolved enough. That being said, be kind to your favorite cam model. They are some of the best people on earth.

I bank with Wells Fargo and have never had an issue with them. Very relieved to see that Bianca's lawyer reviewed their TOS and it's all good. I was starting to get nervous. Trying to get a mortgage is another story though.....

Just be aware that the TOS could change I am planning on reading it every year to make sure they don't change anything. Have you looked into New American Funding? My husband has an insane credit score but we are both full time fetish models and had no issues getting approved. We had 10k to put down and we live in MA and it is very expensive here. Depending on where you live your housing may be cheaper than ours. We put freelance graphic designer and they did not look further. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be I would highly look into them!

Here is where they come out and support sex workers: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...-is-making-life-miserable-for-sex-workers-714

That was a really nice article.

I'm always a little surprise that sex workers don't try opening accounts with the major brokerage firms. I'm very satisfied Schwab customer, but Fidelity has similar services to what I'm going to describe.

$1,000 to open a Schwab Brokerage Account, there are no minimums or fees. You can also open a linked Schwab Checking Account, with also no minimum. Not only does the checking account not charge fees but they will rebate ATM from any bank in the world. So you can use Wells Fargo, Citibank, Royal Bank of Canada ATM and at the end of the month, they'll refund the $2,$3, $4 or whatever fee they charge you with no limit.

They have mobile deposit take a picture of your check, and the money is typically credit to your account the next or sometimes 2 days later.

No foreign transaction fees and they offer extremely good currency conversion rates. Schwab is also good about not charging excess fees. Outgoing wires are $25 (free if you have lot of money) but incoming ACHs and wires are free. Very handy when the camsite payments get screwed up. They even pay .2% interest on money you have in the checking account. I especially like that it is linked to a Schwab brokerage account. You can get started in investing/saving for only $100 in any of Schwab's very low-cost exchange traded funds. As somebody who was fortunate to retire very young, I think the key is to make sure your money is working as hard for you, as you work for your money. Investing is the best way to do that.

I'm sorry to say I have no knowledge of how they treat sex workers, I'd be a surprise if was an issue, I've never had problems buying stuff from sex workers using Schwab's credit cards etc.

You still need to read the TOS - I have fidelity for investment and my lawyer told me not to put my checking with them because there TOS was written a little iffy but my investment portfolio has nothing to do w/ my job so that IS safe. I would still highly recommend contacting a lawyer and seriously have it read over, banks are super sneaky!! You as a buyer won't get flagged (unless your spending like ridiculous amounts) but as a sex worker with there TOS morality clauses they can freeze us at any time because of the "suspicious activity" clause they love to throw around. It has nothing to do with that, my money is coming from NiteFlirt - a site that has been around like 20 years.. I mean it's not like Im depositing WADS of cash into my account daily or spending weirdly to flag ANYTHING. I'm also a SCORP which should have negated ANY bank freezes since I am registered as an actual business. This is the issue is that they are not sex worker friendly and using our jobs against us which is ridiculous. Everything she said was right on the money- I bust my fucking ass, trying to live the American Dream and guess what I'm treated like a criminal..

That's hardly a special feature these days, my po-dunk, middle of nowhere bank and credit union both offer this. Just about every bank and credit union has their own app you can download and use for mobile deposit these days.

Mobile deposit isn't special, 1 (rarely) 2 day clearing of a deposit is. For instance, I have a Wells Fargo checking account for my rental property the checks are deposited on the 14th of the month. I can't access all the funds until the 17th or 18th at the earliest. Plus I have to maintain a $1,500 min balance to avoid a $5 monthly checking fee. Banks are rip-offs.

Wells Fargo is shit, I'll never not agree with that.

I'm not sure if my bank is exceptional or not, but it clears mobile deposits pretty fast. On Wednesday, I used it to deposit a check I got in the mail around 3pm, and it was in my account the next morning - pending, but I could access the funds. I deposited another check on Wednesday, after bank hours, and it was in my account today. Maybe I'm just lucky with this bank, but I've never had an issue with them. I don't have a minimum balance at all, but they prefer that I keep at least a dollar in, and I don't get charged for being overdrawn unless I'm more than $10 overdrawn, for longer than a day. I've also called in and told them that my grandpa was going to be making a deposit for me, and that I also need a money order, which they pre-issued and let him pick up for me so that he didn't have to come into town, get me, and take me back to the bank, then back to town. They've let my mom just walk in and say "I want to transfer $25 to my daughter's account", and they were able to do it.

It sounds like you have a good bank. My sole point is that many camgirls seem to have troubles with banking. Credit union are generally a fine alternative to a big bank, but not so good if you are traveling because of the hassle of finding an ATM that doesn't charge fees. I've been extraordinarily happy with Schwab over last 30+ years and think they offer lower fees, more convenience, and higher interest than any other financial institute. I couldn't find anything in the TOS about sex work but I can't guarantee that.

Hi there so I'm going to be starting webcam modeling and I'm concerned that I have been hearing on Twitter that Bank of America and Chase is freezing webcam models earnings!! What bank do you recommend that works for you and they don't freeze your earnings ? Thanks
use green dot bank
