I decided to post this in general because not just us models use cams :) I did some forum searching and lots of youtubing and Im still at a standstill. I had my logitech 9000 and once they took the white balance adjusting away i really stopped liking it. It seemed like it was getting worse over time. I have lots and lots of good lighting, so i doubt thats an issue. I took it back to best buy (thank god they took it back because its almost a year old!) I got the c910 which I hate, I like the way its built, but although i have about 400+ watts of light, it looks like i have none on at all. The custom settings suck. Now im debating between the new microsoft lifecam studio ( it has whitebalance controls and tripod thingy mount) or just the 9000 again. any help would be awesome :) my guys are used to an awesome image, and theres no going back now. i attached 2 pics one the lighter is a normal pic, then the other is its bipolar white balance activity. the switching during my shows got rather annoying.

I have the Microsoft Lifecam Studio, and I love it! Now I never used any other cam before so I can't really compare, but I do know that it works awesomely.

- Most of the time I don't even have a light on because it will be too bright, but that is usually during the day & I have a lot of windows. It even looks good in the dark not fuzzy or anything.

- I don't like that the software won't run if I have the webcam running in a different program. So you always have to make sure to turn the auto focus off before logging into mfc.

- It's design overall is good for setting places. It screws on any tripod, and the way the handle bends makes it perfect to put almost anywhere.

- It's picture quality is pristine..sometimes too pristine! I labeled the pictures what type of lighting I used. Hope this helps! I don't regret buying mine :)

I have the Logitech Orbit AF
It's amazing. The quality is awesome, the sound is awesome. It was only like $100
at best buy, and I'm sure online you can get them cheaper. Plus, it looks good DAY and NIGHT
it has facial recognition software, where it will follow your face wherever you go, if you're like talking to
family or a friend, and then you can turn it off for cams. it also has the long stick if you want it taller, and you can take the stick out and its really short. check it out! its pretty cool.

Hope this helps :hello2:
