Hi Everyone, I need to vent. Tonight I just got done performing on Stripchat. I uploaded a more advanced top quality video that is on sale for 20tks until Friday the sale ends. The cost will be raised to 380 tks. Viewers appear to purchase videos for less then 100 tks. The ones I have on sale are the only videos they purchase. I had a viewer that wanted to send a photo so I enabled photo sharing and the viewer said it was too expensive UGG!! Are you kikdding me!! It was only $5.00! 100 tks is only worth $5.00!! The viewer took off so I just shrugged it off. But when a second viewer did the same that was it! I almost lost it! I

A couple of hours later another viewer purchased my new top video that I created with enhanced angling skills that I had on sale and sent me a pm stating that he loves my dirty nasty video which sounded rude. The viewer wanted me to send another video with dirty talk so I sent him a dirty talk video for 144 tks and he also said it was too expensive! I was starting to get angry as the second person that said that! I was so angry I ended the broadcast early! I am sick and tired of cheapscapes and freeloaders!

To top it all off I have this viewer who wanted my husband to spank me hard with a charging cable until I bled and that's against Stripchat rules. My husband spanked me but not hard enough to bleed because I abide by the rules. I am not into sadism to that degree.

Does this happen to anyone else? I feel so alone. If this does happen how do you handle the situation? Should I lower the amount or charge what I think its worth?

The market got flooded, people offering stuff cheap, now it’s almost expected from the general audience of viewers.

There are whales and dedicated fans who appreciate our worth and will spend what we ask for our content, but they are few and far between.

Thank you so much for your reply and understanding. I have had viewers pay 100 tks for a shot and I have had viewers ocasionally pay 200 tks at the most and your so right! Most viewers are cheap and treat us like we are $2.00 hoookers! We deserve more respect than that.

By doing this you are encouraging this behavior. When you release a video at such a heavily discounted rate it signals to the user that you dont think your content is worth the regular price. Not saying cheapskates arnt a thing, but this is basically inviting them to low ball you and advertising yourself as someone with low self value so they will push it too see how low they can get it.

Should I lower the amount or charge what I think its worth?

Always charge only what you are happy with, never lower the amount because that will start a snowball where you still wont get members tipping because they will keep telling you it's too expensive to see how low they can push it.


ETA: I am generally very anti discount, I have only discounted videos a handful of times in the last 10 years. I know some people think of it as a way to boost sales, but IMO if you are discounting things regularly, you train the customer to not make the purchase because they will always be waiting for the better deal.

I know. I totally agree with you. it is just as you stated, I wanted to boost sales because the video was so good I wanted atleast a handfull of viewers to whatch the video thinking they would tell their friends and other viewers about our new videos but instead I think I started something I never wanted. I should have never offered discounts on anything. I really screwed up and now I dont want to get on cam

It might surprise you, it could be that they dont say anything or less do, and other people just pay. In my experience when you have customers asking for deals all the time the price is already too low because its attracting the wrong type of customer. OFC it could always backfire where you end up making less because the price is too high, only one way to find out though.
