For the sake of giving any advice though, don't be upset if you don't give amazing head your first time. It takes most people lots of practice before they're truly comfortable with it and understand what they're doing.
I would say, if you end up going through with it, the best thing to do is just be vocal and ask him what he likes in-the-moment. Chances are he knows what feels good to him and he should have no problem telling you. Every guy is different too, so even if you get all your pointers off the Internet you may inevitably have to tweak your methods for the sake of pleasing this one guy in particular.
