Hello! this is a questions for OnlyFans creators ❤️ I started my OnlyFans account 1 month ago, I have 75 subs and already I posted like 150 pics and 50 videos, I know it's not too much but in future they will be much more. I saw some girls remove their content after a period but others keep it. Now I m wondering how is better way to do, on the one hand people expect to find a lot of content but on the other hand it's not fair to 1 month subscriber to get what a member who paid the whole year got. How do you think it's better to do ? Thank you and sorry for bad english .🤗

Leave the content on your page, continue to upload at whatever pace you upload, but send out an extra special mass message once a week only to people who are currently subscribed.

I do see the appeal to removing content after a period of time. It might get some people in with the mindset of "I need to see this content before it's gone." However I have had better luck with keeping the content up. That way you can promote it as, "Get over 100 pics and videos for the low price of x." Then as mentioned above, you can do something special for existing subscribers.

I actually revamped my entire OF with no warning. I deleted almost all of my most explicit content (full anal, penetration, squirting ETC), and now only do edited teaser clips, some tits and ass photos, and audio clips. My sub price is only $6.99, so I feel like its a steal.. They have the option to DM to tip for full videos, because I honestly felt I was being taken advantage of with 90+ fans not tipping a single dime for all that hard work (literally 120+ pics/videos in a matter of months). I also cam full time, so Onlyfans brings in a negligible percentage of my earnings. Mind you, it was unique content that wasn't anywhere else. Because my OnlyFans subs are kind of ungrateful, I decided, F their feelings. If they wanted me to keep up my nastiest content, they could at least tip more than their sub price. Its rude and I'm not having it.

That's literally worse than walking into a club, paying only the cover, and never spending anything else. I really don't care what kind of financial situation you're in; You continue to be subbed to me month after month, yet you don't think I'm worth more than $6/mo? lol I probably don't care to have you as a fan anyways. You're just cheap and dishonest. You are more than welcome to go to the next girl who has a sale for $3 with all her content on her timeline. Its just not how I choose to run mine.

TLDR: I say you should do whatever the F you want with your page.

If this is your true motive for doing it then it's better to just message your members and ask them directly or have them vote on it.

There's nothing wrong with making a change for your own benefit just be honest about it, members will either go with it or leave. Making it sound like you're taking something away in an attempt to add 'value' just puts your reputation at risk when you have no reason to do so.

My sub price is only $6.99, so I feel like its a steal

It's very unfair to decide the members are cheap or evil because YOU set the price of the sub lower than you felt it was worth. You can't make it a members 'fault' for paying what you're ASKING them too. If you changed it to a system that works better for you then great but I don't understand the blame game when you were in control of everything.

My true motive, just like any other model who has one of these accounts it ultimately to make money. So in a business, when you don't receive a single tip for months, after all the extra work you put in to get to know your customers, yes, its time to reevaluate your plan. I didn't ask anyone to PAY anything. Thats my model. People will pay what they want, regardless of if you set up PPV or not. Everyone knows guys hate PPV because they don't want to be "begged" for money. So instead of doing that, I remove what I feel makes sense to remove, so that people aren't stealing content and getting a bunch of shit for next to nothing.

I never called anyone evil BTW. Being cheap has nothing to do with being evil.

Example: If I tell you that my new model on my onlyfans is that I will still post teasers, nudes, etc, and you may DM for the full video, all while still keeping the same sub price that YOU (a fan) chose to renew, and then you slide into my DM to get the video, I sent it with a PPV cost on it, you open it and DON'T BUY IT because you expected it to be free? That's cheap. They are never more than $10 and you knew what to expect, because I literally told you before you messaged me. How does that put my reputation at risk? lol Just unsubscribe like everyone else did. Mind you I've been gaining fans since this change, so you're actually incorrect, but go off.

I don't delete OF content but at most of my hottest posts I set an expiration date of 30 days and I try to market that, saying in the description that some of my hottest posts expire every month so they should join from time to see them all.
well, that's a great idea 🤔 Thank you!

What it really all boils down to is giving people what they expect from you. I'm closing down my OF due to several different reasons, most notably I hit an impasse with support, but I had in my "about me" section what exactly people should expect from me. People see this before they subscribe, or at least they should read it. Anyway, as someone who values honesty and ethics, I feel that this is extremely important. If your bare minimum is posting a pic nearly every day, a vid once a week, special content in a mass message, and a ptv occasionally, write that and then follow through. You can always post more as a surprise for your people, but posting less than what people expected when they subbed to you will cause resentment.

Every single person who subscribes to your OF is valuable. They are a person and you should treat them with the same respect that you wish to receive in turn. If you feel that your content is too good or too much for what you charge for your subscription, raise your price, remove the higher quality content, and/or send out the best stuff via ptv. People are broke right now and paying for a subscription to just one person's content is a luxury. Those who do indulge in said luxury must like you and/or your content enough to happily support you the best they can. Do note, I am not talking about the people who subscribe, don't have auto-renew on, never buy your ptvs, yet constantly ask you for free stuff and/or for content that you do not feel comfortable doing. Those people are the worst!

OnlyFans is kind of a love/hate relationship for me. I like it in that it's another venue for the models I follow on camsites. But, there's a number of things I dislike about it as well.

I do not have my subscriptions on auto-renew for the simple fact that if something happens I don't want it to constantly be charging my account when I'm unable to access it or if financially can't afford it at some point in the future. Of the models I follow with subscriptions, I do annual if I can. OF sends notice that the membership is up for renewal within the next 1-2 days, so I either turn auto-renew on for it then shut it back down or do it manually.

I typically do tip in addition to the monthly rate, and rarely for PPV content. But, it also depends on how much models set their prices for. I get we all want as much as we feel we're worth. But, if the rates get too high, then others don't think it's a value and they aren't necessarily being cheap. Where I have issues is models with high monthly subscription rates and then sell expensive PPV on top of it. To me, this is not a good value and I've dropped a couple of models who do this.

On way to look at PPV content is it's just like mass marketing. In that you're casting a wide net, hoping to get at least a few purchases. The thing I absolutely dislike about PPV is that you don't even get a static frame preview. I've been burned by a few purchases, so I'm very hesitant to buy now. I look at how much it is, and the time or number of pics along with who the model is.

It's too bad OnlyFans doesn't have an option to block other creators (models). I read a post somewhere about how one model is getting spammed by other models sending her tits and ass photos to her inbox. I guess trying to advertise themselves to her? *Sigh* And what's crazy is that it's happening despite her having the "Don't accept private messages without a tip" option enabled. I have that enabled too, yet I went to my OF page today and saw that some random chick had private messaged me asking me to check out her OF page. *Eye roll* That's annoying. Tons of opportunities to advertise yourself on Twitter, Reddit, etc., including those "Drop your OnlyFans link here!" threads I see a lot on Twitter. No need to spam a fellow model's OF inbox.

And let me just say...I'm so happy to find two other sites besides OnlyFans that will actually allow me to upload AUDIO clips that are under 1-2 minutes...or videos that are under 1-2 minutes. I'm talking about IWantClips and AVN Stars. I have audio clips of me singing, and I can't upload them to ManyVids or MFC Share.

There are a lot of drawbacks to Onlyfans, and some updates it could use, for sure. I don’t follow a ton of models so I hardly ever get the messages. Honestly they probably just send it as a mass message, and forget to remove the other models.

This! People are like “well you’re not charging what you feel like you’re worth and that’s the problem” like...no...not really. Onlyfans only lets you set your monthly subscription so high anyway. So technically no one can “charge what they feel they’re worth”.

It’s really a matter of charging what you feel like people will actually sustainably pay, for what you are offering — then adjusting based off of what method works for you.

None of how Onlyfans (or any of this industry really) has anything to do with someone’s “worth”. So when people send expensive PPV along with an expensive subscription price, they can’t expect to make a good return, because there are others offering much more, for less. Still doesn’t mean the person charging more has content that is objectively worth it (thus making a consumer less likely to spend on a model who genuinely thinks about the cost of what they charge; see- Bella Thorne) A lot of times, people take advantage of the idea that “expensive means better”, so the market has kind of a push/pull of undercutters, and less popular people feeling bad about themselves because they make next to nothing for a lot of effort even with reasonable prices.

On my free account, which is the only page I follow other models, I don't bother trying to remove anyone from the mass messages. So that's gotta be the biggest part of it.

There is a balance between charging what you feel your content is worth and what the market says you are worth. For me, I did charge pretty high rates (and still do on MV) because I am typically far more conservative in my live streams and I very rarely post pics on Twitter. When I do post pics on Twitter, they're also very conservative. I also put a lot of time into my OF and ensured, best I could, that everyone felt heard and respected. I had 40 people, so I am not a "popular" model. I chatted with many of my people at least once a week and I learned about their lives, their fantasies, their fears, etc. What I offered on my OF was more than just lewds and occasional titties and orgasms and I feel that it all warranted/warrants my high cost. They clearly felt the same and I was in the top 5% before I made my decision to close down my page on the site. I charge(d) what I feel I'm worth, but also adjusted to the market. May need to adjust some more actually now that I'm switching sites.

If you have a lot of subscribers, you aren't able to develop and cultivate relationships like this, but you do have more eyes on your content so you are able to charge less. People who fit into smaller niches tend to charge more than those who have more broader appeal. I sometimes wish I had broader appeal because I do legitimately feel bad for having such high prices on things. I always did and do try to offer content that can fit into a variety of budgets, but some of my content is just super exclusive. I feel weird having someone pay less than $20 for a flash of my tits considering that when I was just starting out, I had people pay nearly a thousand just to see them.

Charging higher prices limits the amount of theft that you will have of your content. As someone who loves teasing and stimulating imagination, it can be damaging for me to have topless/nude content of mine out there for free. It's a huge turn off because I legitimately do get turned on by the thought of how I can make other people's imagination run wild. Higher prices also weeds out people who are just going to waste your time. For example, I rarely ran any sort of sale on OF. When I did, I would always get the same type of people. One person actually did a $5 chargeback on his sale subscription because I refused to post pics of my "gaping" asshole.

In my case, yes, my more expensive stuff is better than my less expensive stuff. I've always had good return on my more expensive stuff. For example, I sent out a $5 ptv - 25 people bought it. A week later, I sent out a $100 ptv - 6 people bought it. The latter is a much better return than the former. I did put significantly more effort into it and did something I had never done before so it was objectively better.

All this to say, please don't knock other people's prices. It's a little insulting to insinuate that an individual who charges a lot doesn't think about their prices. Everyone charges what they want and what they feel is best and reasonable for them. There are a lot of tits and pussy on the internet, but they aren't yours and that's what people are paying to see - your content because they like you. They are engaging in ethical consumption of porn and you should absolutely reward and thank them for supporting you and your work. But! you also shouldn't feel the need to lower your prices just to match what everyone else is doing in hopes of outcompeting them. Those people are not you.

I agree with everything you’ve said, and it is a thoughtful response to virtually all of the points everyone has made here. It’s a fine line to balance with subscription based sites. However, I did not insinuate that people who charge less don’t think about their prices. I think they do, but not from the same perspective as their counterpart. My point is that I just don’t think some realize that people who charge more aren’t doing it for the sheer hell of “they feel like they’re worth more than other girls”. If anything, people who charge less for a subscription are generally going for quantity of subscribers over quality of subscribers — they’re trying to make as much as possible. I know this, because over the course of me adjusting my price, I’ve noticed (from my own experience, as well as what others have divulged) what kind of people you attract based on your subscription price. Like I said, it has a lot less to do with “digging at” cheaper onlyfans, and more to do with trying to cultivate a different type of fan base..hence me mentioning “thinking about it carefully”.
You’ll notice Twitter is choc full of $3.15 sales on Onlyfans. They may get a lot of subscribers, but from a consumer perspective, unless that onlyfans is incredibly exciting, I’m inclined to jump to the next $3.15 sale someone else is having, because “nothing lost, nothing gained”, not to mention it only takes $3.15 to steal your content now! In my own personal opinion, I feel the cost far outweighs the benefit of having a cheaper onlyfans for the long term.

As with anything cheaper than average (I guess average might be $6-12?), you have to consider whether or not people will tip if they’re only paying you what is ultimately $2.50. Probably? Probably not? Regardless of what anyone here tries to say, it IS easy to discount it as cheap as possible and gain a few hundred subscribers. People do it all the time lol and that will probably work for a month or two. But as you said, you can’t build lasting relationships with a hundred something people, in any realistic way. So carefully thinking about HOW you’re cultivating a (hopefully) higher spending fan base for the long term by charging a higher price doesn’t “insinuate” one is worse than the other. It’s a matter of subjective perception, based on experience.

I'm sorry. I must've misread your previous post and immediately got defensive because I see a certain type of talk a lot around the internet whereby members and models both complain about too high of prices. I think we're on the same page :)

It all comes down to value perceived. Both from a model as well as a member. As a content creator, set the price as you see as marketable then adjust as necessary if sales don't occur. One will always have the cheapskates, and then others who are willing to pay since they consider the price worth it. I consider myself to be somewhere in between, leaning towards the latter. But, I also have my limits in terms of budget so try to find value in the content I like and the quality. This is what I was referring to my in my previous post, so hopefully didn't come across wrong.

Something that was mentioned previously, I forget if it was in this thread but know it was in others, is that in comparison to traditional porn websites OF might be viewed as less of a value if all you look at is the content. Porn sites are typically one price per month for all the content, rarely having additional expenses and has a variety of models. Content is typically downloadable. With OF, it's one model per subscription and content is generally not downloadable. Add to it all the PPV's, and it becomes much less of a value based upon content only. Where OF may be of higher value to someone is if the model is interactive with her followers in terms of messaging or posts based on feedback, etc. such as you said you were with yours. But, that will really vary based upon the buyer.

I look at OF as being a secondary form of content for me, as all but one model I follow on camsites. It isn't additional spending on top of what I normally spend on camsites, it's that some has been shifted from cam to OF. I'm sure this may be the case for many. I would hope models realize this is the case with some members, and not try to play the numbers game of cam vs OF and instead look at the overall picture while noting the differences.
