Some of you may be new to the Deus Ex series, the previous two games came out a few years ago now but they were great, this is a prequel.
Cyberpunk fans? Bladerunner fans? Neuromancer? You'll fucking jizz over this :D
So far (I guess they had an early review copy) PCGamer Editor's Choice 94%
 
haha yeah, it unlocks on the 25th on steam for me which is 24th/23rd in the north.
 
Don't know if you all saw the faux pas that GameStop committed by for yanking a pre-packaged coupon from PC editions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Yeah the gamestop thing was really dodgy...not even remotely worth it for them - they got bad pr, effectively had to give everyone involved a voucher for a free game, and still come out looking like sneaky assholes LOL

Btw I've been playing it and it's fucking wiccckeeed
 
I need to play more of this. It's... harder than I remember 1 being. Never played 2 despite getting it for a dollar.
 
I get so fucking sidetracked in these games lol...I can't walk 10 meters to an objective without hacking and searching every room I come across first...and soon I've got a bunch of new missions and I'm a block away from where I was almost at lol.
 
god this game is fucking amazing! I'm 99% sure the bug discussed above was patched a few days ago because the section in the mission where you couldn't complete it was fine for me.

One funny/cool part for me was, when I first started the game I snooped through all my co-workers offices, hacking the door locks and basically taking anything not nailed down. A few hours later I got an email from a co-worker asking me to check around because someone's been breaking into the offices (the player character is security head at the company) :lol:
 
LOL my character just got back to the office after being in China for a few days, and his inbox is full of people talking about the office thefts :lol:

Including one woman who went to management in tears because a co-worker accused her of being the "office bandit" in front of everyone...hahahah!
