I was so nervous and shaking the whole time. I'm really a very shy person. I still managed to make 70$ in two hours. Is this okay?
How do you ladies find things to talk about? I don't want a silent room, but when I tried bringing up conversation very few members replied and it made it hard. Any tips? I feel so lost!
Also, what is a good price for Skype? I had three people ask me!
- No one here can tell you if $70 in two hours is OK. We don't know your goals or what you expect from camming, or your living situation. Some girls are satisfied with making $12 per hour, and a couple of others are used to hundreds of dollars per hour. Most are somewhere in between of course.
You have to ask yourself how much your time on cam is worth to you, and then you'll be able to tell if $35 per hour is 'okay' in your eyes or not.

All we can tell you is that it stands for a camscore of about 1500-1600 so it's better than average (CS 1000). (I'm just assuming that you're on MFC, since you didn't mention what site you're camming on.)
- Conversation topics can be almost anything, really. I'd try to avoid religion, politics or very controversial stuff in public chat, as well as sad stuff (death or diseases; don't let other members talk about those things in your room for more than 1 or 2 sentences, either - it's bad). But outside of that the sky is the limit, I guess. I've had the most random conversations on MFC.
If a few people replied to you, that's already better than nothing.
When absolutely no one's talking in my room for 1 or 2 minutes, I often ask if anyone's up to anything fun today/tomorrow - when someone responds, ask them questions about it or share your own experiences you might have with whatever they're talking about. If there's still no response, I often ask if had an interesting meal recently. Guys often love talking about food.
Or it's always a good idea to talk about something that really interests you and that you have a passion for. I often see girls' whole faces light up when they're talking about their hobby or their pet or whatever, and it'll make a great impression to guys coming into your room. Just make sure not to give away identifying info while you're talking about things. Like, don't say "I was walking through Central Park yesterday and saw the cutest squirrel!" if you don't want people to know you live in New York City.
If your room keeps being silent despite you trying to engage guys in conversation a couple of times,
you don't have to stay. Unless people are continuously tipping, nothing's keeping you there. You can always close your room, maybe have a glass of water, maybe redo your lipstick or put on a different top, and come back a little later - you might have a completely different crowd of people during the second shift.
- For Skype prices, I find that
most girls do them for a bit cheaper per minute than privates. You're not obligated to do that. My own Skype prices are slightly cheaper than
trueprivate, because I don't like doing Skype shows very much.
Make sure to
never accept PayPal payments for Skype. Guys who ask if they can pay with PayPal for Skype are planning to get their money back later in most cases; PayPal doesn't allow payments for adult services. They can get your account close. Take tokens instead. As a new model, your priority is raising your camscore and that only works with tokens. Getting a big tip for a full Skype show is good for your camscore.
